In this case, it is recommended to set the app to automatically skip WP, or to use a BT keyboard to see early by zooming that an illogical reversal follows. VG

@Corjan-Meijerink I confirm I was using myRoute app only. Navigation info were replicated to the car dashboard. This works for Google Maps as well. The weird thing is that the wron info is given only when showing the final destination distance and not when showing the next turn point. Is there any test I can do to help you ?

Ik heb zelfs een Treo 650 met een Palm OS gehad. Beetje BlackBerry style. Ik vond het een heel handig apparaat.

@Nick-Carthew Yes, I found that curious too. I consider Google Maps the gold standard for identifying traffic/closures and couldn't find it either. I dug a little deeper and found the following on the California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS) road status website: [image: 1761919395048-screenshot-207.png] I called their number too. The closure is real with and undetermined time for reopening, but I suspect it will be soon. I'm glad this came up because it illustrates the checklist I go through in investigating/developing a route. I start with checks on Google/Apple Maps for any real-time closures. For any critical roads in rural area, I'll proceed to Government Road information sites like Caltrans as a deeper check. That's why I'm not a big fan of any routing program I use (MRA, Basecamp, inRoute, OsmAnd) restricting me from developing a route in areas where I do my own research. Even though Google (from my experience) is the best, it's not perfect, as you can see above. And frankly I've found HERE to be the worst. I can show examples of closed roads that HERE says are open, and open roads that HERE says are closed. That's why I'm a big believer in having an "Ignore Closed Roads" option in Routeplanner, to let me decide what's open and not. I don't need big brother directing me.

@D-Griffin Thank you for your kind words! We’re all working together here on the forum to make the app better! I do that with great pleasure and really appreciate your comments.

Addendum regarding saving the RX-Route: have now found in the new MRA 5.0-422 app that you can probably save a selected RX route under Edit directly after activation, this leads to the fact that it is stored under your own routes. This route is still public at the moment, and you should know that .!! [image: 1761848284329-img_4656.jpeg] [image: 1761848461003-img_4657.jpeg]

@Corjan-Meijerink I have 3D enabled and have noticed this. When I observed the previous detail issue, both screens appeared to be at the same close zoom level.

@Brian-McG, exactly, many people have different use cases. That was actually the point I was trying to make, like a mirror to the comment I was replying to

Hi @Agostino-Vincenzo I think most would agree the Hauts de France is not an area where you are going to find "beautiful panoramic" routes Only one I can think of which would come close would be following the western coast from Calais down past Boulonge Calais is obviously the start point for a lot of UK bikers heading to europe for some fun Most of this part of northern france is all pretty much flat & featureless with villages every few 3-4 kilometers so routes are very stop/start Don't get me wrong there are places to visit like the Blockhaus d'Éperlecquesbut but great roads & routes are limited (hence the gap in the MRA library) It is not the greatest area for biking & I think thats why most UK bikers normally just bypass it by head south 100 miles on the motorway before starting the holiday for real

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I can see when you hover but I think there just could be a better way of doing it. Especially when you have potentially eight routes from the same place and they all come in a little box in the corner at the bottom. And you have to click on them all individually It's just a bit frustrating

Since I raised this issue, it occurs to me that there are a whole load of apps out there which don’t handle BST and only use GMT. A problem has arisen for me with electric car charging and cheap electricity periods in the U.K. EDF (my electricity supplier) doesn't know when their cheap electricity periods are. They only work on GMT - midnight to 5 a.m…….but in summer this becomes 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. They are going to get back to me to confirm this is actually the case. And then there’s the actual car charger itself which only uses G.M.T. apparently - so I think I’ve been using expensive electricity for an hour every time I charged the car in summer. So, my conclusion is this is now a non-thread, forget I ever started the discussion and close it. Let’s all stick with G.M.T. and get rid of B.S.T.in the U.K. Been interesting though.

I believe this will be fixed in the upcoming update (tomorrow). The weird issue with the menu (which wasn't there during development but only in release builds) caused a lot of underlying issues. Glad we have those beta's
