@ferrand24gmail.com, HAH! I love it when a plan comes together! With your BT connected, enter you phone's volume settings and up the media volume. Likely that is currently set to zero.

@RainerT Hi Mate, thanks for your reply. I'm aware of the settings, while riding in Dynamic view I would like on occasion to use the +- zoom on the navigation screen, to give me a view further ahead, or select an alternative side road if there's a closure ahead. Instead of having to change modes to top view and then zoom out then click mode view again to get back to Dynamic (which will then be zoomed in). Hope this clarifies my thoughts

@b0hd1, No there is nothing wrong with that, and it is also not what I said.

@Kerry-Lebel, Although number three is a nice suggestion, not only for bikers bot also for all other means of transport, it is of course also an option to add your bike in the name of the track when you save it. For the other suggestions, yes, those would be nice too, but I think they become sensible only when HERE will adopt full fledged off-road navigation. I don't think that will happen anytime soon (bummer).

For those who are not familiar with 'BDR'. It means Backcountry Discovery Route.

@Aiello-antonino, in such a case you can manually skip to the waypoint you desire.

@Robert-Laudensack Tomtom has the best traffic information there is. So if you compare your route with Tomtom is you will have less trouble when you driving. The traffic info from Here maps is not so good and would not tell you why you can not pass that road.

@Stephan-Dornberg said in Maps loading slow: I would love to see the maps that are in the DMD2 app available in MRA. Those are beautiful maps with a lot of helpful detail. The OSM in MRA is pretty plain by comparison. You're probably referring to DMD's "offroad" map with its nicely colour-graded tracks: [image: 1767367670214-tracks.jpg] It's an OSM map with a customised rendering theme; it's an approach used by many other apps on the market - no rocket science. According to recent posts, DMD will implement a feature that lets users create their own themes, configuring what to see, at which zoom level, and in which style. For both the web planner and the app - that's going really wild... However, if we can see all these tracks, we likely want to route them, and that's where things get tricky. DMD uses BRouter as a routing engine with highly customised routing profiles. I don't know if there are other options. More support for off-road routing has been requested many times; let's see what the MRA new web planner will offer. It's under development for about a year now, and expectations are high

@Makro To start with the easiest question: no, if you deselect a POI, it does not disappear from your own POI list. The options you are given—adding it as a POI and/or as a waypoint—allow you to choose whether to see both or just one of them. You can then place the created waypoint on the route line (for example, if the POI point is far away from the road) while leaving the original POI point in its original location. After placing the POIs in your route, you can deselect your own library. Only the POIs that have been placed in your route will then be visible. This is especially useful if your own list contains more than 2,000 POIs, as there is a limitation in the navigation app: it displays a maximum of 2,000.

@Stephan-Dornberg Let’s say you click the skip button for route point 10, the system will draw a straight line from 9 - 10 and effectively turn off navigation between those two points. Useful for bypassing a closed section of road or using a ferry.

Wouldn't it be neat if having found an exceptional* route blockage the app could display it in red, indicating to the user why the route is not as direct as expected. The user would be informed, rather than confused. Not sure if it's feasible, but it would certainly have helped me in the past! Example: [image: 1767303433170-combi.jpg] *closed road, serious jam, etc.

@Corjan-Meijerink my goal here is to avoid touching the app while riding - which is the case with mainstream apps like googlemaps or waze. Appreciate they have bigger budgets and this might be technically difficult. Just pointing out the limitation. Thanks

@Kerry-Lebel ...your mentioned point "Mirador la Peña" serms a so called view point. You can use it by a click as route point if: on your screen left side, there is the list of waypoints - but you need to switch to list of POI (click on "Hamburger-Menue, right side of word "Waypoint" to select it) in the list of POI, you need to select the category "viewpoints" with a little luck, the "Mirador la Peña" is well known and an icon becomes visible in map (by zooming in!) you can click on this icon and select, if you want it entered as always visible POI - or/and as route point. Mostly the icon has the name as in the map shown (but you can override).

@Rob Verhoeff I've already find the solution in an other Topic ("Large Icons") just after I posted this one. Sorry for the inconvenience. This topic is unnecessary and can be cancelled.
