@Wallace-Shackleton I sort of am onboard with this idea as I do spend a lot of time subtracting the distance from one point to another however I would definetley not want to see both the cumulative & individual distances displayed at the same time my preference would be for a toggle switch at the top of the waypoint list that enabled the user to flip between the different measurement styles

@Jörgen @Mzokk : MRA does not import the waypoints that are in a Track, they only import the trackdata. Loading a track into MRA as route has the same result: no waypoints transferred. I took an existing track with way points and put it in Google sheets . then changed some data and exported it as a track again. the exported track could be imported into Google Maps, Umap and Basecamp but not in MRA. [image: 1758054408364-1e2cdb08-9d44-4101-9e98-a3e51db17f86-image.png] as you can"t import a CSV as route or track in MRA I would say it can only be done by copy-paste.

@Lenny-O if I am reading your post correctly then I think what your after is already possible with MRA without the need for any form of syncs for tracks firstly I am going to assume by snapshot you mean a screenshot of the page, so just a picture of the route & you want this to be a clean uncluttered image of the path of the planned trip with no waypoints the simplest way to achieve this is to just create a new blank route then go to the side menu & select Routes > Add & add the route you want to screenshot you should be able to get a result something like this on the right [image: 1757961933077-56ea7336-31f7-45a2-a4a4-70f1c435a97a-image.png] you can even choose what colour you want the pseudo track to be & if you wanted also add in a few "Points of Interest" to make it a bit more informative

Strange, Nomko — you ask for something, a solution is suggested, and then you get upset about it. OK, no further replies from me, there’s no need to ask for censorship or anything else. Have a good day.

@Brian-McG I wonder if it's an issue with Oneplus then... Thanks for letting me know you had an issue but then it stopped. Mine started with 4.4.0. Don't know what changed.

@Nick-Carthew I do love when you can see a conversation thread with the discussion just being a bit out of sync & a little at cross purposes this post is in the "[Web] Suggestions and Discussion" section when @ian-davies-2 is asking about "a way to make these side roads bigger, brighter and easier to see while route planning" but he "forgot to mention its on the phone." as the original question is asking about maps & planning in the phone MRA Routeplanner, the map options that Ian may be interested in are those in the Menu > Map Style [image: 1757019560177-05d63a70-43d3-44cc-9a4d-805138a467a6-image.png] @ian-davies-2 you may be disappointed, none of the choices give a really really clear contrast for the small unclassified roads

I have had the same idea (riding the MSD) on my radar for some time now. When following suggested trips, I always prefer tracks over routes as they stick closer to the original intention or, even better, use tracklogs - I like the idea of following someone's traces. @Richard-18 said in Is there any plan to allow the stitching together of tracks?: To do that, I need to convert the tracks into routes. The MSD Webpage includes links to all MSD parts, which lead to routes provided by Kurviger. Where did you get the tracks? @Richard-18 said in Is there any plan to allow the stitching together of tracks?: ...my question as to whether MyRoute’s owners had any plans to add ‘track stitching together’ in some future update. If they don’t and / or or people don’t see too much of a value in it. Even if editing tracks may not be part of a core planning task in MRA (where planning focuses on routes), MRA offers track navigation as well, and there are some capabilities for maintaining tracklogs. Therefore, IMHO, basic features such as splitting and merging tracks would be conceivable.

Thanks all. I knew the suggestions, however I like a |Finish flag at the end of the route. However I use now a red hand to suggest this is the end.

does not help you, but I do not have that problem. After importing the GPX1.1(route, track) I get 3 options. Import as a track, or as waypoints, or as support points. All seem to work but I prefer the waypoint option. I am using a Samsung S20. I usually have less than 15 points on a route.

@Jem-Cotton said in MyRouteApp (WebPlanner) development Roadmap: Hi. When we had our last interchange about prospects for the web planner, I was cautiously optimistic. Cautious because we've had many promises in the years that I've been using it, of a big nd much overdue overhaul - not tinkering with the appearance, but addressing core usability. In the event, the expected 'announcement this or next month' now feels like a brush off, and accordingly I am feeling cheated that I invested in a lifetime membership in a product that is in effect largely stagnant. It's such a pity as for very little work in real terms, big improvements could be made and the result would I'm sure validate the faith put in the development team by countless lifetime gold membership users. Sorry to sound negative, but we've been here too many times. It could be worse! You could have paid £600 for a Garmin zumo XT for them to leave everyone with no development even when issues are pointed out to them and whats causing the issue they just brush it off and do nothing! At least MRA is getting developed

@Guzzist said in MRA_Routeplanner - difference between Track and Route-Track?: For me, there is no difference between self recorded Tracklogs to Track. I guess we don't agree on this one... I would hate my ordently managed routes to be spoiled by tracklogs. You can however save a tracklog as gpx, and re-import it as a route-track. Otr just import received tracklogs as route-track instead of tracklog. This way you will find them amongst your routes.
