For some reason, this happened to me too last weekend. I have a xt wirh a route made in myroute app. Exported with gpx 1.1, for a route of 350km. Expanded with 100 points (all soft and checked). When i open the route in rhe xt, it is as planned, but only after a few km's it suddenly changes the complete route to about 550km's. It gives similar behaviour as you describe. Sometimes it even directs me in a linear direction,like i'm a plane. It happened with a round-trip, so from A to A. I had another trip made from A to B the same way, didn't have any problems there. Made with the same settings and same export mode. Ended up following the route as a track, but that is far from ideal, as there is no guidance then in the xt. There must be something happening in the xt, because BEFORE i start to navigate it is all ok. Settings are as MRA suggested (faster time, re-calculate on). Doesn't matter if i change any if those, still keeps happening. Hope someone can help with this....

Neem aan de routeplanner via het online platform? Is OSM jouw standaard kaartlaag?

@Con-Hennekens Hartelijk dank voor je snelle en gepaste antwoord. Ben er blij mee en weet nu hoe ik makkelijk in het buitenland kan blijven genieten van MRA NN en de mooie routes.

@Peter-Zehentreiter Thank you for that, but yes. I already knew about this and I am using HERE as default map and also when planning the routes. It is a must-have to use the MRA routes with my Garmin Zumo XT.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom, dat is net zoals met een klok. Als je een horloge hebt, weet je altijd precies hoe laat het is. Heb je 2 horloges, dan weet je het nooit zeker. Geloof ik de ene of de andere?

Oops, he did it again. Vanmorgen was het weer raak. Bij de rode pijl had de route gewoon rechtsaf kunnen gaan, dat was vrij. In plaats daarvan stuurt het me door, door smalle steegjes, waar ik nog net met mijn camper pas en in rijden mag, om vervolgens bij de blauwe pijl uit te komen bij een wegopbreking. Ik kon dus weer door nauwe steegjes terug naar de uiteindelijke route. Het resultaat is, dat ik nu bij elke afslag kijk, of die niet van de route is. Maw het vertrouwen is even weg. @Brian-McG, MRA uses GPX too. My point is that fields in a CSV have no designation. In GPX (which is XML) they do.

Heb je de POI’s toegevoegd aan je route? Route via de connector overgezet als gpx 1.1 route, track en poi? Kijk dan in de XT bij de waypoints Voeg ze toe aan een verzameling in de XT Met dank aan Hans van de Ven

@Bill-Harrison TomTom don’t like you to use special characters in your password. Try changing your password if it contains special characters.

Well the problem was really problematic for at least me. But for me this solution works.

@L.Strauven TomTom houdt niet van speciale tekens in de routenaam en soms ook niet in je wachtwoord. TomTom does not like special characters in the route name and sometimes your password.

Maar rob je hebt me wel op t spoor gezet. ik heb de instelling vd muis cursor aangepast, die stond idd op wit en is nu zwart.
