You might temporarily use another app that uses OSM maps. Some of these apps are free and OSM maps can be downloaded for free at several sites.

@rob-verhoeff This is the first time that I have posted on this forum so I wasn’t sure how it all worked but was just trying to seek some advice on how others had dealt with the same issue. If I can I will try to remove my post and will avoid the forum in the future.

If you suspect you're not getting automatic updates, just go to your app store and search for 'Navigation Next' (or more exactly 'MyRoute-app'). Any outstanding update will be shown there, and you can update manually. If you see posts here about upcoming versions and so on, you can compare the version discussed with the version you have installed, which is shown in app here: Account -> scroll to the very bottom and below the Facebook/Insta icons you'll see the version number (e.g. 5.1.0 - 462) Note: When Corjan posts about new features there can be a gap of several days before it appears for users. That's not his fault, the app stores need to check apps for quality, viruses, etc, and they offer no agreed time that it will take them.

As mentioned, blocked roads aren't always reported. For example, in this case, myrouteapp web doesn't correctly let you pass through the blocked road: [image: 1779877080871-rezzoaglio.jpg] This winter, there were heavy rains and many landslides, with roads closed for a short time or unfortunately for a long time, depending on the severity. So, when I plan a route this year, I first quickly trace it using Google Maps, which is generally much more accurate than myrouteapp when it comes to closed roads. Then, I recreate it in myrouteapp, making any necessary adjustments.

@Nick-Benson It looks like somewhere along the route you are editing, you might be encountering a seasonal closure or roadworks. Try sharing the route you are working on by posting the URL here. Make sure the route is set to public.

@Keith-Hofgartner Why not use the in-app planner? I followed your steps on my iPhone 16, and I find it impractical to use the Routeplanner website on my phone like that. All those menus leave hardly any space to edit the route. I can imagine that nothing will be done about this from a development perspective. Accessing the Routeplanner (website) via the app does not support rotating your device. This is a deliberate design choice.
