Why not set a default e.g. snap to road and then allow the user to set a flag to unsnap specific points and move them off the road when needed. Or a toggle, snap all points to road on/off etc. etc. I'd much rather there was a "sensible"*** default and then options to change the default as required. At the moment we just get a default and that's it. *** of course, we'll never be able to agree on what's sensible

Yesterday I made a further test in my car with a Smart AA screen, i testet different routes, a shrot route with ~10 waypoints an d a longer with 54 Waypoints, the short route shows all its waypoints direkt in the waypoint list, the longer stay in the wait for results screen, so it is not relatet to the brand of the aa screen, on the phone, the lists where shown direct in the expected list, only when using the aa projection the list seems to be limited in length, regards

I agree with a folder having totals included for each. When one is planning a tour is is interesting to know just how much one will have to do. May stop some over enthusiastic route planning.

In the Activity feed, you can make your tracklogs public and share a link to others (your family). So they can see your journey just in the moment you finished your day and saved your record.

@Bill-Wright-0 ...for road closures to be included in MRA, road construction companies or users of sat-navs must report them to the map providers. The map providers then need staff and time to update the maps. This takes a very long time! In such cases, you have no choice but to find an alternative route yourself. The automated detour function in the app can only work, if a route block is officially known.

Ik heb gekeken en helaas geen aanduiding van welke tijd je ziet. Dat zul je dus moeten onthouden. Wijzigingen zijn wel simpel door te voeren vanuit de instellingen op je tweede scherm

When I am off work, I am going to ride the route again, with both devices running, but set up in my normal way of navigating, be several days before I can carry this out. Ik heb hetzelfde probleem met een vastlopend scherm. iPhone 16 met Apple Maps, werkt perfect in de auto, en werkt ook altijd perfect zonder verbinding met Carpuride (W602BS). Maar aangesloten op de Carpuride heb ik zelfs 2 problemen: ofwel het scherm loopt vast ofwel hij start/restart om de paar minuten, waar je natuurlijk helemaal dol van wordt...

Wellicht helpt dit je verder. Ik had precies hetzelfde probleem met mijn Cardo Edge in combinatie met een iPhone. Het volume van de navigatiestem kun je alleen aanpassen met de volumeknoppen van de iPhone, en dan ook uitsluitend op het moment dat er een navigatieaanwijzing wordt uitgesproken. Speel je daarnaast muziek af, dan is het volume daarvan wél rechtstreeks met de Cardo te regelen. Hiervoor had ik een Sena-set en daarmee kon ik het volume van de navigatie afzonderlijk regelen met de knoppen op het communicatiesetje. Dat vind ik bij de Cardo eigenlijk een gemis.
