Er zijn wel mogelijkheden maar die wil MRA niet implementeren.
TomTom gebruikt aan de rechterkant een info balk. Hier kan je die info die hier gevraagd wordt laten zien.

Het is de horizon.
TomTom Go heeft een vergelijkbare view maar laat de Horizon niet zo nadrukkelijk zien als MRA. Hierdoor stoort het minder of helemaal niet.

The issue with CarPlay / Android Auto will be resolved in a future update!

Het gaat er ook niet om waarom er berekend wordt. Het gaat erom dat in een kwestie van een paar seconden 4 routepunten worden overgeslagen. Waar helemaal geen reden toe is.

Uiteraard zou MRA moeten kunnen zien dat de route aan het einde van de weg samenkomt. Daar is het een navigatie voor.
Dat ik over een weg rijd, waar ik niet komen mag volgens de kaart, doet er niet toe. De weg staat op de kaart en heeft zelfs een naam.

Inderdaad stonden er aardig wat punten van de weg geplaatst.

@M-Schrijver It didn't recalculate on my other routes (I have the setting to automatically recalculate set to off). Maybe the shaping point is closer to the main road than the points I had on previous routes.
I totally agree that the app should not recalculate (with the recalculation set to off). When I have ignored instructions to drive a planned route then I can have made a conscious decision to do so and expect the app to be silent about the missed point(s), a non intrusive warning that I am deviating from the planned route would be fine. And as soon as I am back on the planned route the App should just forget about the point(s) which I skipped. Indeed when the app tries to send me back to the skipped point I miss the instructions to navigate to the next point.
Eventually I hope that this behaviour can also be the behaviour for via points (when navigation a route as track) but that's for another time.

@Con-Hennekens After a break of 3 weeks I navigated one of my standard routes again. Something has changed somewhere and the app doesn't work as it used to do. Something on a MRA server, my phone or on the here map. In my case none of the shaping points are skipped and I had to stop the app eventually. I have submitted a ticket so I hope the developers can have a look at it.

@Mangelschots maak een service ticket aan een misschien dat de devs je dan verder kunnen helpen.
Op mijn Goldwing heb ik heb Android Auto. Dat gebruik in de T865X tablet. Gelukkig zonder problemen.
In mijn auto heb ik wel Android Auto en ook dat ervaar ik heb problemen. Dus ik hoop dat de Devs je verder kunnen helpen

@M-Schrijver I have not noticed that points are snapped to address in MRA. MRA at least puts
and leaves points where I place them. When I tried plan.tomtom it could move a point to a nearby address and rename it. My points are usually busstopps with no address, too difficult for plan.tomtom. HERE navigation works quite well with my points as they are on the right side of the road.

@Con-Hennekens Thanks, that's good to know. Inside an organisation I think that the RX Library is the logical place to have the routes of the organisation, and only those routes. Preferably with a tree/list view (instead of a map view). Employee's login for example via single sign on. MRA has all the components needed (and more) but might need repackaging to get acceptance.

That's probably because on the Motorcycle you can filter through traffic so you arrive 1 hour earlier than in a car.

I plan according to miles. Just keep in mind 200 miles on motorway is way shorter than 200 miles on twisty roads.

With time you can gauge how many miles takes how long depending on the route, also going through cities will add a lot of time.

This is exactly why I don't use the beep function either. I would also like to hear 1 beep per instruction, but not at the last second 😅

@Manzo91 I just set a point to navigate to. set the sound to silence and then the navigation works and the maps are visible. The only thing is you keep seeing the navigation line to that point.
