I don't use POI at all in such a case. I just put a VIA point at all places I want to visit. That seems very handy to me. That being said, I think we can expect a lot of improvement in the handling of POI in the next web-planner (which unfortunately will still need a lot of time).

@brian-mcg @nomko On several FB Scotland pages there are warnings for the potholes, we will keep that in mind, for sure. Our B&B is in Dornoch, so that has to be the start and finish of our trip. We had to book our B&B's in advance because of rising prices and less availability if we waited too long. And now we realise that we wanted to stay longer in some places, but we can't change our itinerary. Maybe next year

@Herman-Veldhuizen, No I don't. But I have noticed before that disabling seasonal closures often leads to roadworks not being detoured. I think in the end a seasonal closure is a road closure too.

The Zumo XT can handle 30 via (stop points) and 125 shaping points between each via point. So plenty for most purposes. Tracks cancelled have 10,000 points.

Meine MRA Überraschung gerade im Neuen Test, von Münster nach Oelde, warum ist bei leicht kurvig der Weg ca. 80km also doppelt so lang als bei mittel kurvig ca. 50km oder sehr kurvig mit ca. 51km …. Und nutzt durchaus Städte wo es doch dort viele kleinere Straßen drum herum gibt … das versteht keiner so wirklich hier oder ? Sorry aber das ist unlogischer als ein gutes Ergebnis was ein User erwarten würde. LG tut mir leid, aber so einfach scheint das nicht sein. I have an XT and use basecamp so thing might be a bit different with tread. You might get better answers here. https://zumouserforums.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=11 As many of the users use MyRoute app along with their Garmin Devices (I'm one of them). For what it's worth I almost exclusively use MyRoute app now for route planning and storage vis my Africa Twins built in AA/CP Screen. I use my XT to display a track of the route and for custom proximity alerted POI's (MyRoute app can not do proximity alerted POI's)

@Cock-van-Santen Ik heb een route geprobeerd naar Biaritz. Ligt aardig in het zuiden. Ik krijg drie keurige opties recht toe recht aan... Kies bij routeoptimalisatie voor "Snelste". I have found that it does not affect every divided route, sometimes it works sometimes it does not work... I am somehow at a loss. 🥴 It apparently affects some but with a little waiting it works then, with me there are routes there is not possible at all, although there is actually no special difference to other routes where sharing goes over the hurt WhatsApp, very unsatisfactory the whole thing. VG

Just straight fixed North Up is all I want, just like my XT. Setting North Up works until I zoom in/out, then having to re-select North Up is a distraction and a danger if you ask me.

@jbvannieuwenhuijzen Dat navigatie begeleiding en overige audio gescheiden zijn is een enorm pluspunt. Dat hebben niet alle headunits. MRA ondersteunt deze scheiding maar voor een deel. Maar is met Acapela TTS Engine en Daan als stem geen issue meer. Tenminste bij mij Zelf gebruik ik de Pixel 6 Pro (auto) en Pixel 6A (motor) voor de navigatie. Nadat ik Acapela in gebruik heb genomen merk ik dat het audio volume van MRA gewoon in lijn ligt met Google Maps en Waze. Het ligt ook in lijn met Spotify en Youtube Music. Als dit bij jou niet het geval is, betekent dit dat er ergens nog iets niet goed staat.
