When you place your first marker put it about 200 meters on the road you will follow. Also if you stop you can hold your finger on the next waypoint and it will take you to that waypoint. If using Carplay device you can use the waypoint marker on the right of the screen to skip waypoints to ensure it does not re route you back Just to add. When creating your route ensure your marker is on the correct side of any dual carriageway or motorway. Otherwise it will not recognise you have passed it.

Hallo. ik heb toch een vraagje over routepunten automatisch overslaan. Ik heb een korte testroute gemaakt om het duidelijk te maken, zie link. Als ik nu voorbij punt 7 kom en vervolgens afwijk van de route en dus rechtdoor rij op het kruispunt om zo routepunten 8, 9 en 10 over te slaan. dan slaat hij punt 8 over. tot daar goed. maar punt 9 en 10 niet en blijft me naar punt 9 sturen, zelfs als ik routepunt 11, 12, 13 en 14 voorbij ben. het enige wat ik kan bedenken is dat MRA me minstens 2 keer moet terug sturen om vervolgens het punt over te slaan. En in deze situatie kan dat dus alleen langs alle punten zo helemaal rond langs Hovestraat en Boniverlei, terug naar 9. Ik zou het eigenlijk wel logischer vinden als je al een een volgend punt voorbij bent, nummer 11 in dit geval, dat dan de route terug wordt opgepakt en de vorige punten overgeslagen. Er zijn verschillende discussies hierover op het forum die ik allemaal heb gelezen, maar volgens mijn bescheiden mening kan ik geen situatie bedenken waar het nuttig is om die route punten niet over te slaan. Ik weet wel dat ik kan ingrijpen en de punten handmatig overslaan, maar op de motor al rijdend en met handschoenen aan betekent dat weeral stoppen enz. dus dat liever niet. misschien is het een voorstel aan de experts om een optie te hebben, eens een route punt voorbij, alle vorige negeren. als ik in die lus die ik oversla, toch echt wil rijden, dan zet ik er wel een viapunt. ik hoop dat alles duidelijk is. When I am off work, I am going to ride the route again, with both devices running, but set up in my normal way of navigating, be several days before I can carry this out. I’ve bought a second licence. It’s better for the people behind MRA to have the resources to improve the programme’s development. What’s more, they’re spending a fortune on licences.

I know the area of the first two well, and they look very good to me. Just rode 1/3rd of route 1 this afternoon! And I like the info waypoints. Only one minor comment: some of the waypoints are just in front of a vital turn (route 1 waypoints 7 & 45, for example). I worry that the waypoint announcement might clash with the turn instruction (if people are using audio). Both have waypoints after the junction, so 7 & 45 (and any similar pre-junction ones) might be redundant.

@Lynchy67 It is on the list for major maintenance of the website, just like being able to export multiple routes in one go. Please be patient.

@Garry-Davis exactly, that would have been my second advice, but you are one step ahead. You can choose your beloved app, to count a route to the petrolstation
