    This happens more with satelite layers, rather than Michelin or OSM. Changing layers corrects this behavior, but sometimes not.

    I just got back from 5 days on the Route des Grandes Alpes in France and various nearby Alpine passes. Obviously, when going to almost uninhabited areas or places that are hard to reach with cell towers, you might not have internet connection, but with offline maps, navigation works just fine. The problem I ran into, though, is that when there’s no connection, the planned routes are no longer accessible. So if you need to check them or start a different one, that’s not possible. At least, I couldn’t do it. Am I the one doing something wrong? Just like the maps, planned routes should also be available when there’s no internet connection.

If it happens often, I prefer to have a dedicated folder "for friends" - always with access right "for friends", as @peter-zehentreiter wrote. If it's needed to share a route, I simply move or copy my root into this folder. My friends knows about this folder...

    Beste John, Hartelijk dank voor je antwoord. Voor het eerst een duidelijke verklaring van wat er gebeurt met je routes als je Tread gebruikt inclusief de opslag in de cloud. En nog belangrijker: een oplossing waar ik wat mee kan. Dit lijkt me ook een goede inbreng voor een artikeltje bij Ondersteuning over export van routes naar de ZUMO XT varianten.

    Hi ! So, the bad news is that Transfagarasan is still closed for now, but it should be opened in the next two weeks. You can check the live cam from time to time: https://www.roxy-world.ro/webcam-transfagarasan Good news is that Transalpina was opened about 5 days ago, some of my friends went there already and confirmed this.
