Loading Routes Garmin Zumo XT

Blog by Michel van Hagen
In this blog post I tell you how you can easily and quickly load routes in your Garmin Zumo XT. Of course I use MRA Routeplanner Gold to create and export routes. From the route planner you can choose from 2 different files, namely gpx 1.1 and gpx 1.2. Both files are discussed in this blog with their own specific advantages and disadvantages.

It is already possible to upload multiple routes using Garmin Express.

If you use the connector, yes. If you want to transfer the routes via the app, you also need the Tread app from Garmin.

No, you can select 10 routes and choose save as... (pop-up screen on the bottom). Then go to your download folder, upzip the file and select the 10 gpx files and copy/paste them in de GPX golder on your device

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MR-MRA
Yes I agree you can only select 10 at a time but once you them have all downloaded, using Garmin Express you can upload as many as you want in one go using Garmin Express.
Maybe the 10 Route limit should be addressed when the Route Planner gets an overhaul?

It is on the list for major maintenance of the website, just like being able to export multiple routes in one go.
Please be patient.
