I do, though, have to (humbly) add that I had to tap [Share] in the MRA app after tapping [Download]..

zoals gemeld in mijn verslag cq ervaring reed ik op verschillende tomtom wegen die here niet kende dus MRA navigation maakte er een andere route van dus mijn voorkeur is dan toch tracklijn te volgen. tevens waren er een aantal afsluitingen in duitsland waar zowel TomTom als MRA niet logische berekening uitvoerde terug naar de route. in die gevallen moest ik dus echt stoppen om scherm te bekijken.

dit is echt geen groot probleem want ik heb mogelijkheid om mijn XT over te zetten op mijn reis motorscooter en dan is het opgelost. Echter dan verlies ik voordelen van gebruik MRA.

Got the email today, but then when I saw the dimensions I didn’t order as I thought it may be a bit too big. I’ve ordered the Maxca C5 pro 5 inch instead as my BMW Nav 6 failed yesterday with the dreaded “ghost touches” fault.

Morning Hans - issues is resolved!

I had a SanDisk Ultra USB plugged in at the same time my Zumo XT was plugged in. Removing the SanDisk allowed the connector app to seek out the Zumo as intended. Removing both the USB and Zumo and using the connector app gave me the error message there is no device.
When the USB and Zumo are connected to the PC, the connector app is sending the file to the Garmin folder on the USB only.

Appreciate your kind assistance in trying to solve my problem - appears to have been 'self inflicted' !

Ik heb de lokale autoriteiten maar even geprobeerd. Het gaat mij uiteraard om de specifieke reisdata, ik begrijp nu dat de Here info dus vooral aangeeft wat het op dit moment is. Houd de navigatiemodule ook rekening met de Here data?

I did not apply to be a beta tester for the "navigation" app. That was done by MyRoute.
My issue is NOT that I am a beta tester. The issue is the app is identified as the Beta version which is confusing/misleading if nothing else.

Let's move on. There are some real issues that are keeping the Navigation portion from the app being acceptable. Especially in offline mode. Let's concentrate on that rather than my insignificant issue.

The reason, if you have gloves with only one finger that is touchscreen able it is a must.

I admit, I have thought for a long time "why are all these people nagging about the HERE map colors, ain't that totally irrelevant".

But now I actually had a look at the here map in the planner and indeed: this is a whole new dimension of uglyness compared to Google and TomTom Default.

Zooming in makes it better though

With sun on the phone it is harder to see. i also have my tt so i will manage but i like to see the track and it is not always easy. with alternative like osmand or kurviger it is better to see in some situation.

Dat is zéker het geval inderdaad. Bij draadloos laden worden nog veel meer externe factoren geïntroduceerd dan bij bedraad laden. De lader uiteraard, maar ook hier de gebruikte kabel,, de gebruikte charger, of en welk hoesje je gebruikt. Of de laadspoel goed in lijn ligt met de laadspoel in de telefoon.

Zo heb ik voor mijn Pixel 8 twee Magsafe compatible hoesjes (maak je geen zorgen, dat is het enige Apple concept dat ik gebruik 😉 ) In de ene weet-ie de MRA app net niet bij te houden qua ontlading, in de andere loopt die keihard leeg terwijl het toestel gloeiend heet wordt. Een beetje experimenteren en leentjebuur spelen met vrienden kan je veel leren over de spullen die je gebruikt. De CAT op mijn motor kan alleen met de kabel, en die heeft geen kind aan de MRA app, en wordt ook niet warm.

Maar hopelijk worden er binnenkort stappen gezet qua stroomverbruik.
