@Andy-Welland Stefan is correct, the best place to look for routes is in the RX library. All of the routes have been thoroughly checked and are made the same for MRA Navigation, Garmin and TomTom users meaning all GPS devices follow the exact same route.

We could indeed place these in The Great Suggestion List as @Nick-Carthew mentioned, according to a fixed format. So only a format needs to be developed.

As a camper user, I would like to have the option to put in the measures of our camper, so that in planning a route, we are not send on very small roads, low bridges etc. etc. Some big navigation companies have that (Sygic, TomTom), but there app's are very limited en closed, not like MRA.

Hi Alex, Welcome to the forum, of course it is possible to generate a route in MRA, use the round trip generator that makes a nice winding route for you based on TomTom. But have you also read the roadmap? [image: 1611638744879-a2c0d650-0e6b-46da-a7fe-61b8c8e3b641-image.png] Take a look here: https://myrouteapp.ac-page.com/roadmap-main-page The last work on the MRA Tour Generator is currently being completed and the in-house developed Tour Generator will be available in the MRA Planner. @Dimitri-6, Yes you can make your settings per route and depending on the map you are using via the Toolkit.

@Gary-France Been on a similar journey to you and so glad that I can bin Basecamp. MRA has a great roadmap and I am looking forward to the new features and improvements that are coming downstream. Really heartening that MRA listens to its community and endeavours to cater for their varied needs. Most of all, I love the transparency and the effort they make in their communications’ approach through a variety of methods. Keep up the great work MRA.

@Gary-France That is exactly what I meant having a "collection route" (which needs to be developed). It would not be a route (with waypoints and so on) but a list of references to other routes stored as collection in a route folder. When opening this collection it would fetch all the data from the individual routes in that collection and bring them on the screen. I tested doing something like that manually and made a long route combining 10 existing routes (10day holiday) into one. Main disadvantage is that it becomes very slow and that is partly beating the purpose. And about prioritys: MRA has a long development list, let's see what becomes priority once this list has been processed But I do love these little discusions, if MRA continues to follow its users bearing in mind Henry Ford (if I would asked them they would have asked for faster horses) then all will be fine.

@Dirk-Stadtherr The events are indeed available in MRA Navigation. Create an event in MRA Route Planner, enter the route you want to drive there. Open MRA Navigation, click on the Events button and all your events are sorted by date. Click on an event and you will see the route of that event. @Karsten-Lund-0 I have a Garmin Zumo 590 and a ZumoXT and can confirm that the route will continue after wake up from sleep mode.. When you remove the 590 from the cradle without any action it falls in the sleep mode automatically or if you press the On/Off button shortly als well.

@Dave-1u You can add any point in the map as a POI inside the specific route. I say explicitly inside that route, because without further actions these POI's are not present in a new route unless you save these locations as favourites too or create a custom group of POI's through a external file. You can add an own POI by clicking the "Beheren=Manage" tab in the POI menu: [image: 1610130213694-screenshot_20210108-192259.jpg] After clicking the "Toevoegen=Add" button you can select any point on the map, click on "POI Plaatsen=Place POI" and a POI popup menu will ask for a custom name: [image: 1610130364221-screenshot_20210108-192453.jpg] Type custom name or simply use POI and click "Accepteren=Accept": [image: 1610130391834-screenshot_20210108-192536.jpg] Now the POI has been created. Unfortunately the icon itself cannot be changed. [image: 1610130397129-screenshot_20210108-192544.jpg] Now you'll find the custom POI in the same "Beheren=Manage" tab of the POI menu: [image: 1610131110890-screenshot_20210108-193028.jpg]

If I want the fastest route, I just use the A to B navigation with both the Navigation app and in my Zumo XT, and both routes go over the highway. I never use the shortest - fastest option. But maybe there is a need for it, but as you have already heard this is not high on the priority list and it is compiled by the users.

@Mopetenpit Good idea to have this list started For track recording: record everything that is recordable: Not only the position but also datetime, speed... accomodate larger screen form factors (tablets) with extra info on such screens Have it available on a windows 10 platform (Surface Go) One click "speed" menu where we can configure 10 of our preferred instructions in such as "shut up/turn on the navigation voice", or "calculate around roadblock", or "send me to nearest petrol station now" or "start/stop music", "quit route" and move as fast as possible to endpoint (for when I have again been a bit to ambitious in my routeplanning )
