Via Safari, Firefox, ... kan dit en dat doe ik al jaren.
Ik bedoelde wel van de navigatie app zelf op mijn iPad of Carpe Iter, maar ik heb in andere antwoorden begrepen dat dit een verre droom is. 😢

It is a good suggestion if your phone has this notifcation. I've never encounter issues with 100% full. But as far as i know my phone does give any notifications when full. Maybe i did disable it already.

I have a phone for navigation only. So i disabled everything what is not used for navigation. App notifications is one them.

Thank you for the immediate response. I understand that MRA depends on the accurancy and up-to-date information of Here maps, which - IMO - is very poor, as described.

I think I have found and will evaluate the solution of a competitor that - at least on the first look and also at an affordable price - appears as if it fulfills my most important user needs:

motorcycle optimized route planning maps updated by an active user community web site tour planning and Android app for navigation Android app allows to report road blocks and do a detour management of my planned tours.

I will continue to use MRA for my car routes, but it seems I will switch to another solution for my motorcycle tour planning and navigation.

Well, mine is also synched with Explore and it works well. Any route in Explore is auto synched to the XT2.

What I am saying is that if my MRA route library was able to connect to Garmin Explore, then any and all of my routes would automatically be synched to the XT2.

It's a bit of a first world problem to be honest. I can of course export my MRA routes to Tread and then they end up synched to the XT2. But it would be super nice to just be able to plan a route on MRA and have it just automagically appear on the XT2

@Harald-e Loop eerst de punten na die @Herko-ter-Horst opsomt. Daar zie ik een hoop "first-user" fouten instaan die leiden tot een route die op de navigatiesysteem niet klopt.

En wat @Marinus-van-Deudekom ook meld, zet de startpunt van jouw bv een kilometer verder dan jouw eigen startpunt. Hier zat ik in het begin ook mee "te kutten en te klooien". Nadat ik bij een andere route mijn route startpunt verlegde uit de buurt van mijn garage was ik van die ellende af.

Ik heb geen idee van Carplay en de MRA Next app, maar heeft deze systemen ook geen optie om herberekenen uit te schakelen zoals op mijn Zumo XT?

Unless you need to export the route to another device (e.g., Garmin or TomTom), it is not necessary to export routes. If you also have a subscription to the MRA navigation module, you can simply navigate with the app and open the routes you created from your own account! I would recommend exporting them as .gpx 1.1 (route, track, POI).

@Peter-Bijnsdorp ik kocht voor in mijn auto en compleet Android Auto systeem. Was ongeveer €300. Mijn ingebouwde autoradio had heb Blue tooth en daarom was dit keuze voor mij makkelijk. Mijn op internet en je wordt platgegooid met aanbiedingen

I have also noticed that the lane guidance aid is less that accurate. Perhaps MyRouteApp will work on this in the future.

This is a difference of interpretation of the question I think.
BMW writes the following about this:

No. The BMW Motorrad Connected App does not recommend alternative navigation routes in the event of traffic jams. However, the app takes the current traffic situation into account when planning the route according to the navigation settings in the menu "More" at the bottom right of your BMW Motorrad Connected App.

@Wolfgang-Koch-1 I use the route planner with Linux mint and Windows. Transferring routes to my XT I use Garmin drive on my phone. For my 3xx units I transfer routes directly using USB on Linux Windows and Android. No connector required.

You go to the settings menu, look for options related to route settings, such as avoiding motorways. Set your preferences accordingly.

@Fred-Gilbert, my favorite method is a simply copy / paste. In windows / chrome that works perfectly, and also in Firefox.
