@Captain-Haddock That’s really helpful cheers. I’m going to have a play now doing a similar route…. Mainly non motorway to get down south, them motorways etc for the fast bit into portsmouth. I’ve now set my Garmin to allow motorways, so it will be interesting to see how it compares. I’ve got all day to get down to portsmouth for an overnight boat, so interesting roads are preferable to m6 etc on my trike [image: B581362E-73CA-4D53-8659-A74B94625AD5.jpeg]

Nogmaals bedankt.

Thanks for the review. I am considering the Garmin Zumo XT and I appreciated your detailed insights. Have a safe ride!

Quick update ! I always use MRA Navigation in Offline mode. I tried to put it online and then return it to offline mode and now I have this icon back on my screen showing the distance of the next fuel station. But it looks like it is little different than before. I'm pretty sure that some times ago, it was always showing information about the next one in front of us on our route. Now (and it is like that Online or offline), I can see the distance to the next one, so it is decreasing until I get there. But, when there (0 Km remaining), I see it incresing considering that I'm getting away from it. So it is always showing the nearest one no matter if it is in front or back from us. As soon as the one in front of me is nearest than the one behind, it changes the distance according to that new one.

@Van-Biesen-Bart This will be available soon

@Jack-van-Tilburg Gevonden Jack, gelijk even geprobeerd en het werkt!! Dank je.

@franz-5! Peter

It is possible to insert a waypoint on iOS or Android but it is a bit “Hit and Miss”. You need to zoom in to the full extent of the black route line. I find that zooming back in every time you want to insert a waypoint even if the screen is fully zoomed in will help. Sometimes a purposefull double click on the route line will also work and automatically add the waypoint or give you a prompt to confirm if you have that setting on. Sometimes a long purposeful press on the route line will bring a pop up of the Icon and some other info, click the map, not the pop up, and when the pop up disappears the Insert icon will be there for you to click on the route line. @Curtis-Gratz Hi Curtis, I have exactly the same issue on a 2018 Road Glide. I have tried using via points rather than way points, which does seem a little better. However if I take a break on a route and power down the bike, I lose all the names and it reverts to just the basic address. I save the route as a pre 2019 route, have you tried any other formats (Gpx1.0/1.1) to see if that is any better.

@Jack-van-Tilburg said in Routes via jaagpad: Ik weet onvoldoende van MRA Nav.

@StefanHummelink which should not stop anybody to introduce new requests. MRA will need some inspiration once the current roadmap is finished and maybe they can take good suggestions on board durign the roadmap when they fit existing plans When I do I always use the title: "Feature request: xxx x x xx x x xx x x" so that it stands out.

@Drabslab That is very true, but at this moment it is not possible

@Matt-Flaming said in MRA Navigation App: Search on devices with Android 9 not possible since update: v1.6.9 brings back search on Android 9. I hope it can actually route me somewhere now, since I tried to use it last weekend to run a pre-made route, and it failed before the first waypoint, and then I tried to let it route me home and it just kept crashing. In defence of MRA; there are so many different operation systems, flavors of operating systems and settings on individual devices, that it is very difficult to have an app that works under all cicrumstances. Of course, this doesn't help you much, let's hope that the next iteration is more stable.

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master Hi Hans, and Steve, I don't turn off the phone generally on any of my trips. I will plan a route for Day1 CrazyHse to Mt.Rushmore. If I am riding along during my ride using Nav, then I want to open my Sirius XM app to play some music or go into my GoPro app to start recording video, I just back out to my home screen, I don't pause or close the app out, I figure it should just continue running in background until I come back into it. Keep in mind I'm doing this while going down the road, so I don't stop on the side of the road to turn GoPro on or start music in my Sirius Xm app. I also download the offline state maps and then select offline when I start the trip because I've been burnt on that one too where you get so remote that you lose internet and then it updates when internet comes back and reroutes you because it thinks you've missed a waypoint. I have a samsung galaxy s20 which is very much updated and my Nav app is 1.6.7 so should be the latest too. This first map I think after I left 2, I had went into my Sirius XM app and then came back into NAV and it started trying to get me to white squiggly line route 87 to Mt. Rushmore instead of my planned waypoints the black line, because it was the shorter route. I just assume this is because I have waze on my phone (which I was not using) and connected to my bike with Android Auto, and it thought this app must be waze???? No idea but it was rerouting me. That night is when I uninstalled waze off my phone so if that was the case it would not do that again. [image: 6c09b522-512d-4009-b239-67edfcc8454d-image.png] The last day I created a ride with some 70 waypoints so it would not jack me up and send me down some dirt road, which to me is ridiculous, I should not need to put that many waypoints on a ride. Well that was actually working out just fine, but it was this day that I backed out of the Nav app, to home screen then went to GoPro to fire up the video, was on that for about 30 minutes then went back into the Nav app, and I had figured it must surely update from where I was, 30 minutes ago, I had been on the same section of road albeit passed over 5 or 6 waypoints in that time frame and just continue on from there but no, it had me doing a U turn, and when I went to skip waypoints, of which I should of been on like 38 at this point I figured it would ask to skip from like 33-38 or something but it was starting from 1 to skip, which I was mashing skip skip skip from 1 to 38 going down the road. To me that's not feasible. [image: ec135a53-71a0-4722-ba5f-a38125667e1d-image.png]

@Steve-Lynch Hi Steve, You can continue to use the planner and your XT, the only thing that can happen is that you can sometimes get the message "make a U-turn". This is because a formation point according to the map in the XT is wrong. You can just drive on, the message is given twice and no more. You can also continue to use MRA Navigation, because I think it uses the same map as in the planner.

@Neil-Goodall Ok, I have a ZumoXT and my suggestion was based on it. But can you tab at the first waypoint symbol without alarm and change it to alarm visa versa ? That initiates a new calculation at my ZumoXT and maybe at your device as well.
