Hi @Theo-Bos Een tijdje terug heb ik een Beeline Moto II gekocht en ik maak al jaren gebruik van MRA voor mijn routes. Het exporteren en importeren gaat prima en de route volgen ook, zolang je op de route blijft. Zodra je van de route af gaat krijg je geen aanwijzingen meer. Dit is bij een omleiding nogal onhandig. Online kon ik hierover weinig vinden dus ik heb zelf wat huiswerk gedaan om de 2 beter op elkaar aan te sluiten en een ticket ingeschoten bij Beeline. Omdat het niet zeker is wat ze hiermee gaan doen heb ik ook een online tool (gratis, geen cookies oid) gemaakt om een gpx van MyRouteApp te converteren naar een Beeline versie. Met dat bestand is het mogelijk om in de app alleen de waypoints te importeren. Dat is de enige manier om met de Beeline app de route aan te kunnen passen + een route te krijgen die je wel aanwijzigingen geeft als je van het pad raakt (voor zover ik heb getest). Als je de waypoints wat tactischer zet, zodat de Beeline geen gekke herberekeningen gaat doen, dat werkt het best goed. @Gordon-Scott You can transfer a route to the BMW CRN in 2 ways: Open the route and save it as gpx 1.1 (Track, POI) the route is saved in the downloads folder of your PC. Connect the CRN to your PC using the supplied cable. Then move the gpx file to the "Routes" folder on the CRN. In the CRN go to Navigation, then routes, then click on the 3 dots at the top right and choose import. Choose the route you want to import. Download the MyRoute-app app from the store and install it on your phone. Log in with your MRA account in the app. Go to routes, select the route you want to transfer, click on download, then export and then choose the Connected app from BMW. Choose the track, remove any other "v" from the files to be imported and choose import. If you have connected the CRN with the Connected App to your BMW ID, the route will also be visible in the CRN

Om die reden is een startpunt ALTIJD een VIA punt (met hand-symbool). Zoals @Rob-Verhoeff al zei, wil dat zeggen dat dat punt niet automatisch wordt overgeslagen als je het niet raakt. Hij zal je dus blijven terugsturen naar dat punt tot je, zoals @RetiredWingMan aangeeft, zelf handmatig voor overslaan kiest (tik op het waypoint tegeltje rechtsboven in de navigatie app).

Maar zodra je een route middels de "gebruik deze route" toevoegt aan je eigen bibliotheek, zullen de foto's verdwijnen.

To be honest, we have no experience with our app in Japan. I would suggest downloading the offline maps for Japan - maybe that helps. It clearly is an issue with the maps in the app for specifically the Japan region. As mentioned by HERE it's a special case for us developers but not something we currently have knowledge about (not the answer you want to hear but it's an honest answer)

@Guzzist gpx 1.1 or gpx 1.2 If you use gpx 1.2 there need to be some via points in the route, because gpx 1.2 is a route-track with via points

@nevatik All very good advice given here. The XT can drive you crazy at first. Here's what I do that gives me very consistent results. Some of this has been stated already. When planning online I use the HERE maps as it seems to give the most consistent results. Understand that when you import a route into the XT it WILL recalculate the route based on its settings (avoidances, faster vs shortest, etc.) I turn off the avoidances and select fastest vs shortest. I also use the GPX 1.1 route / track / poi format. Put in enough shaping points so that the route is as unambiguous as possible. Be generous with them in areas where there are different ways to get from point a to point b. As others have stated, when the route is imported the track is imported as well. Go to your tracks and make the track that matches the route visible, then when you pull up the route any deviations will be obvious. Play with the track's width and color to make it obvious when you're viewing it overlaid with the route. Another very quick check to see if the XT's route matches your planned route in the planner is simply bring it up in the planner, look at the total distance, then bring it up on the XT and check the distance there as well. They should be VERY close. If not, check the route vs the track on the XT, make the necessary adjustments in the online planner, then delete the route and track from the XT and import them again. After doing this a few times you'll figure out what to look for (where to put your shaping points) and it will become a lot easier. I just planned a 3 week trip that I'm starting on tomorrow with my brother that includes 19 days of riding, and I only had 1 route that I had to modify and that was because of something really dumb that I had done leaving out some obviously needed shaping points. The other very important thing (to me) that I'll mention is that once you have the route roughly laid out with the shaping points and via points, bring up the waypoint list in the online planner, select the first waypoint, hit the zoom button, ensure that it's exactly where you want it, move it if necessary, then click the right arrow to advance to the next shaping or via point, adjust as necessary, and continue through the entire route looking for any adjustments that are necessary. Move the shaping or via points away from any intersections that may cause confusion. This can be annoying and frustrating at first, but with a little practice you'll figure out what the XT is doing and you'll be able to force it to do exactly what you want it to do! Steve

@Grizzly Om offline te navigeren heb je in ieder geval de kaarten nodig van de gebieden waar je route doorheen voert. Daarvoor navigeer je in de app naar menu linksboven > klik op account-icoon rechtsboven > scroll naar onder en klik op Offline kaarten. Download de kaarten van alle gebieden waar je route doorheen voert. Nu moet je nog ervoor zorgen dat je routes gesynct worden. Daarvoor heb je wel even internet nodig. Om al je routes altijd te synchroniseren ga je met internet toegang naar "Routes & Tracklogs" op de pagina die je ziet als je op menu linksboven klikt. Dan naar de drie puntjes rechtsboven en zet daar "Synchroniseer al mijn routes" aan. Zolang je een internet verbinding hebt zullen al je routes worden gesynchroniseerd. Als je vervolgens in een gebied komt zonder verbinding zal je toch een route kunnen starten. Je route rijden als track kan problemen opleveren omdat voor het rijden van nauwkeurige tracks een dataverbinding noodzakelijk is.

You can enable / disable them in the planner, and even lock them to your profile, so they will always show (even during navigation in the app!). But for the default HERE POI categories this is unfortunately not possible.
