This would be an excellent improvement.

One of the really big weaknesses in the otherwise very good BMW Connected navigation app, is that it shows all roundabouts as straight ahead, the rider entering at 6 o’clock, exiting at 12 o’clock. It then relies on an instruction “Leave at exit 4”, requiring the rider to count the exits. This is made harder as some very small exits (say only into a farmer’s gated field) are counted as an exit, which only a farmer would ever take.

Garmin, with their years of perfecting the display are much better.

Anyway, to keep it related to the beta. Within the Navigation part: you only have top down not following or immersive (3D) experience. So that’s a maximum of one click always 😉 We are also adding a feature to the beta soon that the camera can automatically refocus once movement is detected, preventing any clicks 🎉

@Giuseppe-Marino, dat kon toch altijd al? En ook in de beta kun je een waypoint "longpressen" en vandaar de route starten.

Yes, a voice instruction is indeed cut off when another instruction required priority. Another scenario is that the route is being recalculated, this also causes the voice prompt to be quit.

In the next version, route recalculation and general stability is improved so I have good faith that this issue is resolved / improved upon! 🙂
