    Tested your route both on MS Edge and Google Chrome, both load the routeplanner correctly and show the route. On chrome the loading took a little longer (a little strange, but nothing otherworldly) but the route loaded. How long have you waited? Do you see the blue web-loading bar on the top of your browser move at all?

    @Reinhard-32 thank you very much for this info. While I can't reproduce this myself this will help our developers in the search for a solution.

    Tested on iOS iPAD Pro using Chrome and Safari.
    Existing Routes are not loading for Here Map.

    “RS6 Rykas Loop” is a Public Route
    https://www.myrouteapp.com/en/social/route/3937795?mode=share

    “RS6 Waterfall Walk Safe Route” is a Public Route.
    This is set to OpenStreetMap uses the Offroad mode
    Transport Mode is “by foot”

    This route does open immediately.

    Same as above using the iOS MyRoute Application

    Samsung S10 5G using the App
    “RS6 Rykas Loop” opens in about 7 Seconds

      I have tested MRA with WIN 10 and edge browser (version 94.0.992.38 (official build) (64-bit)). it works. Even the favorites are there.
      Tested with an "old" route with 143 waypoints over 3120km.

      it works smooth

      It doesn't work with Firefox 92.01

        I'm also unable to load any existing routes since this upgrade. I run MacBook Pro and Safari.

            I've just retested based on your comment (I have a MacBookPro and Safari). I downloaded Chrome and routes opened OK. So with a MacBook and Chrome it works for me. My preference is for Safari but can make it work until you guys come up with the full solution.

              Same issue here. Must be the connectivity to the database or hosting services. some form of announcement would be appreciated. I have some observer runs this week and I'd like to plan for them.

                      Hello everyone,

                      After working on this throughout the day we haven't been able to resolve it. Sadly, this meant pulling everything offline until tomorrow. I've adjusted the topic to reflect that sentiment.

                      Your routes should be working again with the "old" waypointmenu.

                        I believe I once read that MRA has 300,000 users. And then it is quite sad that a bug is caused when a new function is introduced. Good pre-testing should prevent this. If things still go wrong, a decision must be taken quickly for a Roll-Back. Because, as mentioned, a large user base that is potentially duped.

                          Saw the annct for the new Waypoint launch and was able to update my route with the new symbols before they went away.
                          LOVED IT! No issues, except the Gas icon seemed broken.

                          Apologies for the last minute ask, but would it be possible to add a 'Hotel' icon?

                          LOVE using the app on my Win10 computer. Then 'Save as' a gpx 1.1 file.
                          Transfers flawlessly to my Gold Wing nav system.

                              Works fine for me on Windows 10 and Chrome, even the speed is ok!

                                          Update Monday 9 PM:
                                          Originally this thread was dedicated to celebrating the release of the new Waypoint menu and the fact that we finally managed to meet a deadline. Sadly, it appears that the waypoint menu was causing some unacceptable issues for some members. After developer Corjan spent all day working on fixing these bugs; we finally decided that at 9PM tonight (without any dinner) that pulling the update back until tomorrow morning would be for the best. We're all going to get some shut-eye here and see if we can resolve this in the morning and then quickly wipe any mention of it under the rug.

                                          Our working technical theory is that it isn't the waypoint menu update itself that is causing these issues. Neither is it the add-photos feature or any of the bugfixings we tied onto the update. It's everything together, that is apparently highlighting a more underlying technical flaw that's to do with resource management of your device/system. Put bluntly: older, slower, systems suffer while newer, faster, systems do not. This is also the prime reason why this didn't happen on any system of MRA staff. The problem also didn't show up during the testing phase of this fix, which is strange as well.

                                          The milestone project for tomorrow will be to fix and resolve this underlying problem and trying to get a testing system that qualifies as "old and slow" to verify our fix. As the day progresses, I'll keep you personally updated through this thread.
