@Haug, No I cannot reproduce it, because on my devices it does not occur anymore. I bet your headset is one with intercom function active, which is why it needs to do audio ducking for the navigation instructions. It looks like it is doing that purely based on volume monitoring. If you don't use the intercom function, you could try pairing your phone as intercom, it will probably become higher up in the chain of priorities.

I do use Intercom on my bike but I repeat: the same Problem exist with my carradio (Bluetooth Connection) and with a jabra Bluetooth headphone.

I read on the Apple Facebook pages, that many users with iOS 26 are having problems with CarPlay, that's why I haven't updated yet and I stayed on iOS 18, but the behavior is strange that it also happens with the intercom connected directly to the CP, I also use the same configuration, I think it's useless to interpose an additional device when the audio source still comes from the iPhone, it goes through CP and then goes to the intercom...

1. Bluetooth connection Iphone 15( IOS 26.2) to my Car-Audio System (Audi OEM - no Carplay) >> always the first 2 Seconds of a Audio Command are missing. It does not matter, whether the slider for the delay is at ZERO or at 2sec. The cut at the beginning is always the same!

now the interesting thing!

5. Bluetooth connection Iphone 15( IOS 26.2) to Apple AirPods >> the voice of Myroute App comes perfect and without any cut and it has no effect, if the slider for delay is at Zero or at 2 Sec.

Then I did the same tests with Scenic Navi APP, which has as well a slider for the delay. It works perfect with all Bluetooth devices, if I set the delay to 2 Sec.

I really have the feeling, that the delay slider is not working at all in MRA.
Could you pleas check again?

Then the question is, what is different between Apple Airpods and all other Bluetooth devices?

Could you please again investigate in this problem? Please let me know, if I can help something to fix this problem.

@Corjan-Meijerink Hi Corjan, now it seems to be working. I tried today with my bluetooth headset and will try it on Sunday with my SRL2 in helmet. Now the delay slider has really an effect and I will keep you updated.

I did my first ride of the year today and used verion 5.0.4 (451). Till the lunch the audio seems fine, but i'm not sure. I did not pay much attention to it. After the lunch i noticed a missing part at the beginning of the instructions.
My audio delay was already set to 1 sec. Therefore i started playing with the delay and hoped to hear some difference.
I did hear differences but not what i expected.

I did not matter if I set the delay to 0 or 2 seconds. The first small part of the directions was always missing.
The only thing what happens was the delay when the instructions were spoken. With the of 2 sec delay, the instructions came 2 seconds later.

B.t.w I have a Sena SRL 3 headset.
