UK roundabouts
-
@Corjan-Meijerink I can confirm that 4.0.7 - 239 has the UK roundabouts correct
Yep me too all good now in the UK.
-
@Vince-Hyde @Lynchy67 Amazing to hear that!
-
@Ray-Weal can you confirm the issue still exists?
I received word from HERE on Friday saying changes have been made regarding the roundabout exit angle issue. I do see significant improvements for the test cases I did in The Netherlands.
If you do still experience the issue, please share where it happened with a screenshot attached if possible (or recreate the route for me)
@Corjan-Meijerink does this fix need a map or even an app update to work offline? Or does it just work?

@Herko-ter-Horst not entirely sure to be totally honest!
I would recommend updating your offline maps to be on the safe side
However, I do think that being connected to internet at some point will be enough. -

This doesn’t appear fixed for me
iPhone 13
4.0.7 239 MRA versionRoute line in map takes correct route around roundabout but current and next instructions show correct exit number but wrong direction around roundabout. Also lane instructions are not always correct at roundabout approach.
Incorrect instruction but lane guidance is correct
Incorrect instructions and lane guidance incorrect
Incorrect current and next instructions

Still having the problem too. Only tested on Android though.

Hi Corjan,
You asked that others report the same problem, if they see it.
=======
I had exactly the same problem here in the UK yesterday.
This was using:
A. A brand new iPhone.
B. Freshly downloaded and installed HERE maps.
C. A freshly downloaded and installed MyRoute app.

Can confirm the issue is fixed in the next update!

Roundabouts still not showing on Android Auto
-
@Corjan-Meijerink
Things don't look too good in Morocco either

-
@tony-v first exit is OK for me. The Icon is may be not clear enough.

@tony-v I doubt that's the same issue. Could just be a single roundabout for which the symbol doesn't match the actual road layout. At least it's not trying to send you the wrong way round or to the wrong exit.

@Herko-ter-Horst, on Tony's (I can't seem to tag him) picture see one roundabout going left and one going right...

@Con-Hennekens Yes, that's exactly why I don't think the issue is related to the UK round-about issue. As I understand it, all UK roundabouts were shown using a symbol going the wrong way around the roundabout. In this case, 1 roundabout is shown going the correct way round the roundabout, showing the correct exit from the roundabout, but showing the wrong direction relative to where the route enters the roundabout. The next roundabout is shown using the correct symbol. So I think it's just a matter of wrong data for one roundabout for Tony, whereas there was/is something wrong with the way all roundabouts are handled in the UK (and presumably, other countries where they drive on the left).

I think, just the symbol is wrong. Had something like this in Germany, the exit was at one o´clock, the symbol shows 9 o´clock. But the voice and text 1. exit was correct.
To be honest, I do not look to the symbol, I listen to the announcement and count the exits in an unknown area. -

To be honest, I don't look to the symbol AND I do not listen to the voice. For 90% I am only looking at the route line. I think instant recognition of the actual situation against the map is the best lead.

Can confirm the issue is fixed in the next update!
@Corjan-Meijerink When is the next update that will fix the UK roundabout issue. Even worse on Android is that it doesn't even show roundabout icon?

@OGRIII I think the problem is only seen on Android. iPhone has no issues with roundabouts.

I had a similar problem on IOS today, the roundabout graphic was correct but the lane assistance was wrong (right hand turn, lane assistant arrows showed left hand turn lanes). v4.1.2-302
