@Corjan-Meijerink You need to take community suggestions for what they are: suggestions. Important for improving the system, but not allowed to stand in the way of a bigger picture. And that typing seems to go pretty well, i have the impression

@Iain-Young In the past, I used to send the route to my Nav V via Export in the menu. Routelab would then activate the Connector and send the gpx 1.1 (MacOS) or gpx 1.2 (Windows) file to your Nav VI. With this, the Connector exports both the route and the track. Make sure to disable recalculation on your Nav VI! Nowdays I only use MRA for navigation.

@roland-herremans Ik gebruik een waterdichte Oukitel WP23 telefoon. Die heeft ook nogeens een 10.000 mA/h accu. Daarmee kan je in de regen rijden en een lange dag navigeren zonder externe voeding. Ik heb hem in maart in de voor verkoop gekocht voor het enorme bedrag van €130.= Maar zelf iets knutselen kan zeker voldoening geven

@Doug-Robinson, Really? I remember on a Zumo (can't remember which one), the maps were suddenly split into Northern Europe and Southern Europe, because it didn't fit into memory in one piece anymore. But luckily I could add an SD card and install both. I guess designing devices with just enough memory is the model of revenue for TomTom then

@Drabslab I was out for about 8 hrs yesterday. Maps were previously downloaded. The app used 47MB of mobile data.

Fijn ook dat je tevreden Klinkt als een goede rit en de punten die je benoemd zijn zeker zaken waar we op termijn mee bezig gaan. ik ben qua werking van app tevreden. kleine puntjes zoals kleur track of berekende route gaan hopelijk veranderd worden. ik kan witte lijn met blauw randje slecht zien in scherp zonlicht. anderen schijnen dit prima te vinden. dat app soms vast loopt kan aan android liggen maar ook aan app. kronkelroute zal waarschijnlijk altijd discussie blijven. mijn voorkeur is kleine boeren wegen en die zijn soms recht maar wel mooier dan gebogen grote weg die ernaast ligt. ik gebruik vaak kurviger pro app met brouter als offline planner met aangepast profiel om zo veel mogelijk bebouwde kom en grote wegen te mijden. export dan gpx en laad hem in MRA. hopelijk als ik straks beta eraf gooi en op officiele over ga dan zien we wel. voor mijn reis volgend jaar hoop ik dat track beter zichtbaar kan zijn anders toch maar xt ombouwen naar mijn reis motorscooter. Dan blijft keuze over hou ik TT of pak ik MRA want mijn max is 2 item op mijn scooter. Bouke
