The award system is back online. @Drabslab don't worry, this doesn't take any capacity away from our development team as the forum is a managed service. I'm aware that there hasn't been a good roadmap update in a while and silence on our part. I'm aiming to fix this by next week!

@John-Roberts said in Other standard map: Hello Con-Hennekens I can create a route on myrouteapp with no problem, but when I transfer it in the standard way exactly as demonstrated by your video, my satnav acknowledges it has received "new data" but when I select ok, the satnav then advises "no data found". I have created over the years several routes, but just lately it is not transferring to my Garmin? Have you had other users with the same problem? Can you advise how I can resolve this please? Hi John, Some questions and suggestions: Which Zumo do you have? Is your ZUMO upToDate, maps and software. Do you have the latest version of the connector? (Windows 49.msi & Mac 24.pkg) Which file are you transferring? (gpx.....) Share your route, so we can see if it might be the route.

@tom-cat said in New MRA Mobile Update 3.1.0!: I thought the new MRA Mobile app was to replace the older MRA Navigation app? I have been a lifetime subscriber for a very long time and this is starting to get confusing. I was about to delete the old MRA Navigation app from my phone and rely only on the new MRA Mobile app. Up until this year I used a TomTom Rider but wanted to leave a device home and planned on moving over to the new mobile app. Is that not the case? So confused here. The MRA Mobile app is just an update of the old MRA Mobile app. It does not replace MRA Navigation.

@sudolea I'm not sure, but simply assuming. I would however not expect the algorithm to be coming from MRA and only using the map data? In that case, the fault is at MRA hahah.

@drabslab Yes, it is followed, is everything from the standard used? No, I do not think so. And if there is a new standard, it will be announced well in advance, so that adjustments will be made if necessary. We try not to think in problems, but in solutions

@steve-lynch That is a good idea might resolve to that if nothing gets changed with the MRA scenic routes. Like the suggestion of having a choice to what roads should be used when using scenic routes.

@Timo-Martosatiman-MRA It seems a little ‘opportunistic’ of you to interpret my comments on the ‘new look’ as favouring it over the current UI! All I’ve seen of the former are the images above - hardly a fair comparison. And doubly opportunistic given my ink blot analogy: Well chosen text labels on hovering on an icon are equally valid and important in either case. You could make the icon for changing the waypoint type pretty much anything, a stylised burger for instance (such that no-one would have a clue from the graphic); as long as the accompanying text is explicit, all users are certain of function. Thus my referring to ‘tinkering around the edges’… I see the new look as being of very little consequence either way. I take your point regarding the two MRA components being distinct from the development perspective. I wish you would consider my viewpoint of them being absolutely essential to one another nonetheless. Combined, they are a potential release from poor route planning environments and the expense and built in obsolescence of dedicated devices, but only when both work reliably… We both know that really isn’t so in relation to one element… And that, for me, is a deal breaker.
