Mouse function when creating route

I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 4/64.
I also use a Bluetooth mouse.
When I use the mouse on other apps, the buttons and scroll wheel function as expected.
When using MRA routeplanner to create a custom route, the left button allows me to click buttons and also grab the map to reposition. But the scroll wheel and right button do nothing.
I tried using a USB mouse (corded) and it acts similarly.
Can anyone make suggestions on how to make the mouse zoom in or out when using the scroll wheel, or the right button to bring up options or ?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Lee@Lee-Parker-1 I tried this some time ago, and I remember that it works quite nice. I cannot actually remember if the scroll wheel worked for zooming though. I will try this later today when I get home.

Hi, my BT mouse on the Android tablet also works a little differently than on the PC (at least in MRA)
You can't place a waypoint directly with the left mouse button, you have to align the crosshair and click on Place.
The scroll wheel works a bit choppy, the zoom sometimes jumps back and forth, but it works.
The right mouse button has no function for me either. -
Hopefully this is something the developers can work into a upcoming update. I truly depend on my mouse.

But if I'm on journey, I use a spare part bluetooth keyboard to my tablet, which has a touchpad included. By this, it works also without a mouse

Indeed I see some very strange things happening... Pointer works perfectly. Scroll wheel seems to zoom in erratically, and only with big steps of the wheel (and also on screen). Zooming out it does not work completely. Scrolling through menus just does not work. This is in the app and in-app planner.
In the web planner (chrome browser anyway) the zooming DOES actually work! Also the scrolling in menus works, and also the right click for the systems options menu works!
Problem is though that if you click a route in the web-planner routes page, the app opens to show the route. You can bypass that by right-clicking the route and select "open in new tab".
I think my previous experience using a mouse was in the pre-in-app-planner era ;-). It would actually be nice to have the in-app planner working with mouse too for sure!
