Did you tried a hard reset? Recently updated the devies?

It's been like that for months, just didn't bother to take pictures and post it.

      Hi.

      The title says it all.
This behaviour is not new, but kind of bothering.

@ATLast If you adjust the zoom settings (zoom out) it does become clearer.

I think i had a similar problem yesterday. Was driving and coming up to a turn when the screen started to lag and then multiple lines appeared and it all got very confusing. The voice prompts continued normally but you could not tell where you were on the screen. I tapped the compass and switched to top down view and it was instantly cleared up. I didn't have a chance to snap a screen shot.

@ATLast I thought that it was a feature of the Dart colour scheme. I noticed it but it didnโ€™t bother me because the direction panel was ok as were the spoken directions.

            Hi Bart.

Thank you for your suggestion : I tried it, but it didn't improve anything.

It even made, at some point, things worse...

The only thing that improved a tiny little bit was to push line opacity to the maximum: then, a vague thin line appears to border the white arrow that covers the route.

By the way, you will also notice the difference the arrival time is displayed on the phone and on the Android Auto screen of the bike: the three pictures have been taken at the same moment:

Thank you for your suggestion, but I tried to switch between the three themes and it didn't change anything.

                Hi.

I don't think it is the same problem: mine is constant and occurs only at intersection, when a white line appears over the route.

                But thank you anyway.

I want to thank all the people taking the time to answer and try to find an explanation/solution: I really appreciate it.

I won't include the people @MRA who could easily step in and either give a solution or acknowledge a bug: that would save everyone's time.

I went to Suffolk yesterday using iPhone 15 Max Pro and found that when using MRA Next with the Map Style set to Explore (which I like) on yellow roads the white direction arrows were not very clear and it looked like a break in the road.

@ATLast The white line is an arrow indicating direction. Hence my suggestion to zoom out further, then you will see the full arrow.

Don't you think that this a bit harsh? Especially since the solution has been given. Ever considered that this is no bug but a settings thing, probably in the combination with your specific (settings of) your AA/CP headend? I call AA/CP "an extra layer of complexity" for a reason...

People were asking for an option to make the routeline less fat, well this is the result.

I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

I tried ll the advices, kindly provided by the community, but they didn't bring and solution. What solved my problem: by playing around with the settings, I have now found a way to keep the arrow surrounded by a tiny blue line, and that helps.

Of course I have considered this to be a problem with the AA implementation by Honda, and it is still possible that's the cause, but I also have to take into account that I don't have the problem with Goog Maps, Waze or OSMAnd.

                            No.

This forum saves MRA's time and money by providing free volunteers help and reports bugs, it is simply a matter of basic consideration to the customers to add a line with a solution or simply states they don't know or can(t help.
I'm in the IT world for a long time now and one of the basic behaviour I always advice people working with me is: don't let a customer's request for help unanswered. And if you can't provide a solution, just let them know.

And for example, looking at your answer here, these two posts seem to me now probably linked and MRA could have answered easily:

Hi @ATLast I do have to say I agree with @Con-Hennekens it seems a little harsh to expect a team the size of MRA to respond to every question on the forum.

I agree with your principle that it would be nice for the MRA team to acknowledge a problem but the MRA team is tiny & the customer base is huge in comparison & we ask a lot a lot of questions ๐Ÿ˜‚

It actually surprises me how many questions they actually respond to but as you say they are getting good feedback so it helps them.
It is a balance & sometimes you will get a response, others you won't

@ATLast It is a community forum that is monitored by MRA staff, especially this channel for reporting bugs. I donโ€™t consider this to be a bug, make the route line thinner in the navigation settings to be able to see more clearly.

That is true, and I thanked all the people willing to help me for that.
But I was looking for a solution and, despite the volunteers's work, I didn't get one.

You are right, that is what I will do in the future.
And MRA will still have to read my question - at least I hope so - and provide an answer - I also hope so - but the community won't have it and will keep posting, maybe for the same problem.

I'm not sure that will save time @MRA, but I'm fine with it.
