@Nigel-Ralphson, If you plan your route on the HERE map, differences while navigating can virtually only happen due to traffic. So if you did not encounter any traffic problems, it is a sign that you probably did not plan it on the HERE map, and that you have set way too less waypoints. You may share that route with us, so we can have a look. Without that, I don't see how we can be of further assistance.

@Con-Hennekens It was moving off the Android Auto screen but may have also been doing it on the Phone but I was unable to check while I was driving (and I was driving my wife nuts asking her to keep checking the status on the phone and AA car display!)

@richtea999 Thanks! But 'unfortunatelly' it was already on car-modus... Nevertheless, I will keep an extra eye open for this setting it it occurs again.

I fixed this on my own. I flashed new firmware and on the audio setting made sure the unit sent everything to the phone. All instructions now go from phone to headset.

@Guus-Jager the icon in the upper left corner indicates that the app is attempting to recalculate your route. If it is there for a long time it can be an caused by a poor Internet connection. Different things may happen depending on if you have downloaded loaded maps. I have also seen this when leaving home and my WiFi connection gets out of range. With downloaded maps it can switch to offline operation.

@Con-Hennekens ik had alle poi’s nog even gecontroleerd en netjes op de wegen gezet. Wanneer ik nu de route open, en een poi aan klik, dan verschijnt er een blauw balkje alsof er iets geladen wordt. Daarna niets. Hou ik datzelfde punt na de vorige actie langer ingedrukt, dan verschijnt er wel een route.

Most people use wifi But you are right, the download of multiple maps at once sometimes lead to incomplete downloads, and locking of the progress. It's best to leave your phone untouched a while after starting the download of maps, don't stop the app and have it on a location with good reception of wifi.

The save icon is only present on the screen, after having pressed the record icon. So maybe there is enough space, next to the save icon, for a new icon with a trash can. Switching to another map provider would basically mean developing a new app. The choice for HERE is partly based previous experience with a pretty good SDK (in the Previous Navigation app) and partly on the Flutter IDE that is compatible with the SDK. Basically that means that the app for IOS and Android can be built simultaneously with the same code. So the choice for HERE was not taken lightly, and in the light of everything getting better, probably the same choice would be made again today

Hallo allemaal ! Vooreerst bedankt voor het meedenken. Ik denk dat ik inderdaad veel te nonchalant met de routepunten ben geweest als meest waarschijnlijke oorzaak (verkeersinvloeden etc. stond al uit). Ik ben daar normaal gezien super-secuur in (en op Corsica zelf ook weinig of geen problemen) maar omdat dit slechts een aanlooproute was naar de Ferry in Toulon over kleinere D wegen had ik hier niet punt er punt ingezoomd. Zoals Stefan hierboven aangaf heb ik dit inderdaad met de zwarte plusjes gedaan en ik ging ervan uit dat MRA die dan wel netjes op de weg zou plakken.. niet dus. Toch nog wat bijgeleerd na al die jaren :-). Mvg, Geert

@Rob-Verhoeff haha, gek genoeg heb ik nog nooit het eerste punt hoeven overslaan… en mocht dat wel nodig zijn dan is dat natuurlijk 1 druk op de knop… Maar de motor op het dak zetten is natuurlijk nog eenvoudiger Dat gaan we doen
