On my last daytrip (i thought with 4.2.0) both WP and directions were not spoken if a WP is close to a junction. This whole thing need some work. Notes and names of WP are also not always spoken even when the distances between the last en next WP/junction is big enough.

Hi All Went out for a long ride yesterday, the inductions did appear but it took quite a while approx 10 miles, then worked faultlessly for the rest of the trip, even coming straight back on after being switched of for coffee break.

I think the long term maintenance closures are map data, while traffic jams and seasonal closures are traffic data from a different source within HERE. But it is guesswork.

@Peter-Schiefer 4 Pfeiltasten wären ja immerhin besser als garnichts. Bei TT go navigation kann man jedenfalls mit Android Auto (Carpuride 702) die Karte mit dem Finger verschieben. Wenn das bei MRA Nav auch möglich sein würde wäre das ein sehr großer Fortschritt.

ast weekend I undertook a longer tour (approx. 600 km) navigating with the app. Data consumption: 430 MB. Before each trip, I checked via WLAN whether I was using the latest offline maps. Of course, I don't want to navigate in offline mode, as I would then miss out on the traffic information. I also noticed that at higher speeds and in the mountains in particular, the map often makes very large jumps, i.e. moves jerkily. Alternatively, I have used Sygic as a navigation system and I get about 10-15% of the data usage.

With my Iphone each app has its own volume setting. Make sure when the MRA app is talking that you turn the volume up. So music can be one volume while MRA can be at a different volume. Or make sure the app isn't muted. Just has this issue with Apple Maps and didn't know that was the cause.

@Lynchy67 And just to clarify further, you will also need to Download the Maps and the Tracklogs.

Ik could do but it is a MRA and/or Here problem. Never had this problem with other apps. More than once with MRA.

@Chris-van-Dijke, een routepunt aantikken voor informatie kan alleen in de navigatie-modus. Je route moet dan dus al gestart zijn. Ik denk dat jij in het route-overzicht al probeert te tikken? EDIT: I see now that you have to enter a note (or change something else) to get the popup of the point on my iphone. Ja, inderdaad, er moet wel iets zijn om te laten zien als je op een routepunt tikt...

The takeover goes directly to the Garmin App Drive and thus it can be sent to the XT2. So I know it for an XT and think it would be worth a try. VG Es gehen nur Stützpunkte ! Hey, ich denke Du hast das falsche Format gewählt, denn das setzt voraus das Du aus MRA das Format 1.1GPX Exportierst. Das übernehmen geht direkt an die Garmin App Drive und damit lässt es sich ans XT2 senden. So kenne ich es für ein XT und denke es wäre ein Versuch wert. VG
