Autobahn vermeiden funktioniert natürlich. Aber ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, dass es manchmal sinnvoll ist, sie zu nutzen. Und das geht dann nicht. Aber mein Ansatz ist eben komplett anders, treiben lassen ist für mich der pure Stress, der dann meist auf Schnellstrassen endet, damit ich endlich ankomme. Es geht eigentlich darum, auf unterschiedlichen Geräten aller Teilnehmer einer Gruppenfahrt die SELBE Route zu fahren. Dann muss man Shaping Points nutzen. Und dieses Problem löst bisher nur MRA mit seinen besonderen Möglichkeiten bei der Planung. Gute Nacht! RT

it sounds maybe strange but i use komoot with osm maps when i want to explore small path. it has offline maps and it can use gpx. i know i is in base a walk or bike app but in a lot off places it works good.

Second the Wunderlinq. I use it with MRA and it works very well. They have a new version, the WunderlinQ X, which allows you to get rid of the nav cradle altogether. You link the Wunderlinq to your phone via Bluetooth, and the control wheel to zoom in and out. Genuinely an excellent product. (not affiliated with them in any way, just very pleased with mine)

Times are calculated by the map software. Each one will be different. OSM, TomTom and Here all use their own algorithm. The MRA Navigation app uses the Here maps. I do find the times to be rather tight.

I'm sorry to say it - but I miss since several months a statement by developers. Many people are talking only about Remotek and Silverfox. But my intention for DMD Remote-2 controller has a deeper reason: during offroad riding and navigating by roadbook - it's not that easy to hit the right button on the controller exactly, to scroll the roadbook on screen in next line. Therefore tis controller has another switch for this. And it feels and work perfect for all the users. But we want to use MyRoute-App for on road navigation - on the same device with the same remote controller too. It's the best navigation app I know - simply the support for the right remote controller is missing

Nice of you both to share some positivity Although there is certainly room for improvement, we sometimes forget that navigating with other apps or devices can also lead to unexpected things. Of course me too do suffer a crash sometimes or other funny (or less funny) things, but that is certainly not different from when I used multiple Zumo's.

Afwijken van de voorgestelde route (blauwe lijn) naar 12 triggert telkens een nieuwe skip naar een volgend punt waardoor ook daar weer nieuwe witte lijnen kunnen ontstaan. Belangrijk is daarom weer het juiste routepunt in te stellen, dus lang drukken op WP11 in dit voorbeeld. Een ander aspect wat mee kan doen in het "bedenken" van een andere route dan wat je gepland hebt, is dat veel planners de neiging hebben om routepunten kort bij Kruisingen, Afslagen en Rotondes (KAR) te zetten. Maar wil je die KAR bezoeken of juist de wegen daartussen? Door routepunten dicht bij KAR te zetten geef je de app meerdere mogelijkheden om daar te komen. Het is beter juist routepunten TUSSEN de KAR te plaatsen, dus juist midden op de wegdelen.

@Nomko-Nomden offline navigation depends also on good GPS receive. Means: you don't need roaming/eSIM for Internet connection. But in long tunnels, you will loose GPS - and if there is an exit inside the tunnel, you need to take- MyRoute-App may will not navigate you!

@Pattepat This is something that the developers will add at some point. I don't think it is as quick and easy to add as some people think it is, but nonetheless, when the more important updates are completed the developers will have more time for fun things like a free ride mode.

@Arjan-de-Vries, Zoals Leike al aangeeft, je kunt het niet altijd voorkomen. Je kunt vreselijk veel moeite steken in het proberen te voorkomen, maar in de praktijk zijn veel wegopbrekingen in het weekend toch toegankelijk, en heb je dus alle moeite voor niets gedaan. Ik rij ik meestal gewoon door, en vaak blijkt het voor een motorrijder helemaal niet zo afgesloten te zijn als dat ze doen voorkomen. Ik los het ter plaatse wel op.

@Corjan-Meijerink bedankt voor de terugkoppeling. Ik realiseer me dat dit minder gebruikt wordt bij motorrijders. Echter autoclubs rijden veel met dit soort routebeschrijvingen vandaar mijn idee om de app nog univerzeler te maken. Maar aan jullie de keuze natuurlijk. Veel succes met de verdere ontwikkeling het wordt steeds mooier
