@Con-Hennekens it not marketing !!! Its my other option when MRA doesn't work like it should ! I dont understand what is your problem, as I use Osmand, others use TomTom, or Sygic ... What is the problem in giving good pointers and ideas for improving this app ???
@Adrian-Avram if your goal would be to improve MRA I would be with you, but…… you often give the impression of stating the everything is better at Osmond.

I don't understand what's yours...
It is clear that you are advocating competitor's software here.
That is kind of not done. -

@ginogino, In my experience having no internet connection and having no cellphone connection goes about hand in hand, but technically you might be right.
<pedant mode on>
Different services need different bandwidths.A phone call needs a synchronous two way connection - not easy in the middle of nowhere.
The same for web browsing, but it's asynchronous, so slightly better - you can request a page and wait say 60s for a reply.
But if you're ever in the middle of nowhere and need to contact someone then SMS (not Whatsapp, Chat, FB, etc) is the most efficient way to transmit a very small amount of data.
In the UK you can use SMS to contact the emergency services, but you need to pre-register:
https://www.relayuk.bt.com/how-to-use-relay-uk/contact-999-using-relay-uk.html
Very useful if you're in the mountains.And yes, I know some high-end phones now have satellitte connectivity, but I'm thinking about a normal person in the middle of the Scottish Highlands. It will take a few years before that is ubiquitous.
Just saying.

Because until now it is ! No offence to the developers, but there are a lot of posts with issues that can back this up.....

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MR-MRA, I like valid arguments like this one!

And so I raise another request, again related to places to eat or sleep, in myroute web with google maps you can see the restaurants, hotels, etc., but you can't see the data (reviews, opening times, etc.) and so you have to go and find them separately on google maps, it would be much better to open the page pointing to the data of the restaurant, hotel, etc. on google maps directly from myroute web.
As for being able to make phone calls, in the mountains in the middle of the valleys it often happens that there is no 5g or 4g signal and if it goes well there is a GPRS signal, but you can make decent calls. -

@Adrian-Avram
I agree with the others, you already indicated that you have given up on MRA and with every question from someone else you come up with big screen shots of the software of another Navigation app you prefer with the confirmation that they are better. After a few times this gets very annoying. -

You can link to the Google data by using there API, but you have to pay for the traffic it generates.
The team could extend the POI database with 2 fields from the GPX1.1 schema, where the "Linktype"and "Email" could be functional.
In this way you can also export it to other devices.I worked around this limitation and import the POI into Excel, get the address from the coordinates with the (personal) Google API key ( I place brackets on the field I want the address and get them in batch). Limitation is that if you request to much data, Google will send a bill
and import it again in MRA with the address data
If you want to have the data into for example Garmin, place a Viapoint and a POI on the same point

I have not made myself clear enough, I am not asking for the google maps data to be incorporated into myroute web, that would be an enormous and disproportionate amount of work and resources, but that from myroute web we can directly open another window in the browser on the google maps site already positioned at the location chosen in myroute web to facilitate localisation.

@ginogino, I think Google will qualify that as commercial use of their platform, and send a bill to MRA (who in turn has to up the subscription fee to their customers).

No, this can be done with a hyperlink without API.
Here the link to get to the Rijksmuseum

Pleaae explain me how to do that in MRA., as I can only add the description.
Also with a GPX import these values are not transferred -
