On my one-day tours I always put at least two or three waypoints of restaurants where you can eat on the road, while on multi-day tours I also put the places where you can sleep, I also include a description to make it easier to find the place, but it would also be useful to have an additional field for the telephone number from which you can make a phone call directly.
Thanks for the idea, it is definitely a useful addition. Maybe this will be possible in the future.
@ginogino, in the note field you can place an URL to the hotel contact page, or to a google info page. Hyperlinks in notes will become clickable links. From there you can call the hotel with a single click.

It may be a solution to put a link to the activity on google maps, but it is more cumbersome and if, as is often the case, I find myself in a location where there is no stable data connection I can only make a phone call and not surf the Internet, with the solution I have suggested, one can also make a phone call without an Internet data connection.
@ginogino, In my experience having no internet connection and having no cellphone connection goes about hand in hand, but technically you might be right.

I don't want to hear a web address or phone number when the note or waypoint name is spoken. A separate field that is clickable is better.

@Con-Hennekens it not marketing !!! Its my other option when MRA doesn't work like it should ! I dont understand what is your problem, as I use Osmand, others use TomTom, or Sygic ... What is the problem in giving good pointers and ideas for improving this app ???

Different services need different bandwidths.
A phone call needs a synchronous two way connection - not easy in the middle of nowhere.
The same for web browsing, but it's asynchronous, so slightly better - you can request a page and wait say 60s for a reply.
But if you're ever in the middle of nowhere and need to contact someone then SMS (not Whatsapp, Chat, FB, etc) is the most efficient way to transmit a very small amount of data.
In the UK you can use SMS to contact the emergency services, but you need to pre-register:

Very useful if you're in the mountains.
And yes, I know some high-end phones now have satellitte connectivity, but I'm thinking about a normal person in the middle of the Scottish Highlands. It will take a few years before that is ubiquitous.

I agree with the others, you already indicated that you have given up on MRA and with every question from someone else you come up with big screen shots of the software of another Navigation app you prefer with the confirmation that they are better. After a few times this gets very annoying.

I fully understand your request, but that would mean that MRA have to maintain a database with all of this data. You can link to the Google data by using there API, but you have to pay for the traffic it generates.
The team could extend the POI database with 2 fields from the GPX1.1 schema, where the "Linktype"and "Email" could be functional.
In this way you can also export it to other devices.
I worked around this limitation and import the POI into Excel, get the address from the coordinates with the (personal) Google API key ( I place brackets on the field I want the address and get them in batch). Limitation is that if you request to much data, Google will send a bill 
and import it again in MRA with the address data
If you want to have the data into for example Garmin, place a Viapoint and a POI on the same point
