Location on->off, popups never stop, app crashes

Minor issue since it's not normal use behaviour, but it could potentially irritate a user.

Android 4.3.4 - 377.
Samsung A54.
Reproducable (almost) every time.

1. Start a route with location enabled
2. Stop the routing
3. Switch location off
4. 'Enable Google' location popup appears -> answer 'No'
5. 'For a better experience you will need to use Location Accuracy' popup. Answer 'No, thanks'
6. 'Location permissions' popup appears.
7. The 'For a better experience...' popup then keeps popping up multiple times endlessly at the rate of about 1-2 per second (you can see the pile of popups building up by the dark shadow around it).

At this point, killing the app is quite tricky because the rate of popups decreases the chance to interrupt it.
Minimising it doesn't necesarily work either - the popups drive the app back to the foreground. Eventually the app crashes - after 30-60s.
