I can work with the route you shared without any problems.
In your video I see that you have enabled several POI libraries. Does the problem also occur when you disable them?
You write that the problem only manifests on the iPhone and iPad. Have you recently installed a new app?EDIT:

It seems that I don‘t have the same problem with your route. I don‘t get the double extension. -
I can‘t use your generated .gpx file in MRA or TT GoRide.
MapsMe, Garmin Connect, BMW Motorrad do generate a usable route.
Make a support ticket and let the developers have a look at it. -

finally the right intuition! you're right, I had installed 2 apps to view the gpx, evidently one took over the file management, uninstalled and everything is fine! Thank you so much!
