Logged out of app, can't login without internet connection
-
I have downloaded routes that I want to access on my android phone when offline, but I am repeatedly logged off and then unable to log back in again when I do not have access to wifi or data connection. This means that the app is useless to me in this circumstance.
There doesn't seem to be any option to remember me, and I don't know when or why it 'forgets' me - it doesn't happen every time I try.
I note that this issue was raised last year, but does not appear to have been resolved.
Is there any way round it? -
@Bikerlou I have experienced this with the iOS App too. I do support your request!

@Bikerlou, I virtually never need to log in again. I remember once when it was necessary because of an update, but usually even that is no problem. Maybe it is best to open a support ticket for this: https://www.myrouteapp.com/support

I’m the same as @Con-Hennekens and never need to login each time I open the app. Do you use a third party like Google or Facebook for your login credentials or do you use email and password?
-
@Nick-Carthew I use email and password to log in

@Bikerlou there's a box that you can check when logging in dit the app will remember your username and password

One aspect that might help the developers resolve it is whether it happens randomly, or whether it only happens after a long time offline, i.e. maybe the user/password are cached for a cetain time, and then it requires a connection to refresh.
I use email to log in, and it always remembers me.
There is no 'remember me' option that I can see on Android or iOS - it does it automatically, which is what you would expect from an app running on a personal device. -
No resolution to this problem. I wouldn't be able to rely on MRA as my method of navigation as I can never rely on being able to log in to the app when I don't have internet access - fortunately I upload my routes to my Garmin Nuvo which I can be sure to connect to. I don't know how to resolve this issue with MRA. Disappointing.
