A strange thing happens when I ride off the Eurotunnel at Calais
-
I have downloaded the full maps for France and the route for off-line services.
Phone: Samsung S10 in offline mode.
I created a route which starts on the motorway just outside Calais, to go to St Omer. When I left home in London, I started the route, asking the app to take me through the start point on the French motorway and on to St Omer. This runs perfectly when I leave home and enter the train in the UK. When on the train, I leave the phone and the app running but, obviously it loses its GPS signal for the duration of the 40 minutes of the tunnel crossing.
When the train arrives in France and before the doors open to let vehicles off, I can see the French map and the position cursor. But, as soon as I ride off the train, the map vanishes (the screen of the phone goes grey) but the route is still running, as I can hear the voice instructions. This has now happened twice, identically.
It is as if the map starts OK in England but suddenly realises it is in France and it vanishes.
If I then stop my bike and restart the app / route again, it performs perfectly.
What am I doing wrong?
What causes the screen to go grey when I ride off the train in France?
Thanks.

@Richard-18 I think that problem is fixed in the next release expected out next week.

@RetiredWingMan, What leads you to think so?
I have not read such a problem earlier. -
@Con-Hennekens I referring to the issue of a white screen and no map displayed.
-
@RetiredWingMan, Ah, that way... Well, the blanc screens as far as I heard of (and saw myself) always happen at app-start. not while navigating. TS implicates it is happening at timezone switch. So I don't think it is related to the earlier blanc screen issues, but it would be great to know if the problem is replicable, and experienced by more people.

The hour jump forwards between the UK and France might well make sense. But why would it make the map screen go grey?
I meant to look to see if it did the same coming back to the UK from France but then, stupidly, forgot to run a route back to home from Calais.
The good news is that, other than the greyed out screen on rolling off the Eurotunnel, the Navigation app performed perfectly. I ran it in parallel to my Garmin XT, both running the same routes, created by me in MyRoute. It performed just as well as the Garmin device.
