Issues, system automatically skipping waypoints and therefore changing the whole route

@Con-Hennekens @Jörgen-Johansson
Another question because you are often talking about "shaping-/via-/waypoints". What is actually the difference between different types of waypoints?
When I plan a route in MRA route planner I thought its always the same type of "normal" waypoint, I dont even know how to create other types of waypoints. -
@Thomas-Scharrer All route points are waypoints. The hand symbols are called 'via points,' and the droplets are called 'shaping points.'
Start and finish are always 'via points.' 'Shaping points' are only there to shape your route. Place such a point on every road you want to drive on, or at least as many points as necessary to ensure your route follows the roads you have selected. Waypoints that you absolutely want to pass by or stop at are often marked as 'via points.' The navigation will always guide you to those points. These points are never skipped automatically.

Thanks for the explanation, then this is now clear to me -

I know you are a user and your input was very valuable on this thread.
Thanks!
so if auto skipping of OFF and you can for some reason not hit a waypoint, MRA will always try to navigate you back to the missed waypoint?
Yes, that is the general idea. Of course you can skip a waypoint also manually in such a case, by tapping the waypoint tile in the top richt of your navigation screen.
