I too have the same issue. It seems release 5.1 of NN will resolve all the known troubles like this and more.
I too paid a lot for lifetime licences and have to use a backup GPS app for when it goes wrong.
Such a shame it doesn't deliver to our expectations.

@Chalkster-0 last week busy in Switzerland. Behaves like a beauty online and offline with the current 5.1 beta version. Also on CarPlay no major issues. Be patient a little longer…
