Hi everybody! Im sorry to hear that there are problems with the Zumo XT and the connector. We just made a bug fix for the GPX 1.1 BETA file. Could you try export it again and let me know if the problem still occurs?
Hi Catalina,
I tried it earlier using the Beta GPX Export and the the Garmin Drive App immediately crashed.
It continues to crash their after. Was the change applied only for when using the connector?
I’m on an iPad Pro.Steve.
@Steve-Lynch Hi Steve,
I applied the change to the GPX 1.1 BETA file, which also applies to the connector.
Do you have this problem with all the GPX files? or only with the GPX 1.1 BETA?

Hi Catalina,
I don't think MRA Connector is the issue.
That works perfect for me.But the problem is on my iPhone with MRA planner and the export to Garmin Drive.
Same result from my site. Garmin Drive Immideately crashed.
But I figured out Garmin Drive is the big issue.
I made an export from Garmin Explorer to Garmin Drive with the same result.
In this case MRA was not involved. -

I previously tried the MRA GPX 1.1 Track/POI that crashed the Garmin Drive App.
I also also exported a GPX File from my Ordnance Survey Account that crashed the Drive app too.
Both of these were before your change though.
I will try them both again tomorrow.. -
Hi @Albert-van-den-Elsen and @Steve-Lynch,
I'm glad to hear that the connector is not the problem. I am interested in Garmins response to you Albert. Please let me know what their explanation is! Maybe with their explanation, we can change some things in our gpx export to make it work for the Garmin Drive App. If any other problems do occur with the connector, let us know.

In this thread we are talking about the Garmin Drive App. The „save as“ functionality from MRA works fine but when you send the desired GPX file via Drive app to you ZumoXT the app crashed immediately and doesn’t start again. You have to reinstall the app and the game starts again.I have already opened a ticket at the Garmin service. The problem is known and the developers are working on it.

It is definitely a Garmin issue not iOS.
I have an older iPad that I use when I go on Tour.
I never allow anything to automatically update on this device, including iOS.I have just installed iOS 14.15.1 on this older iPAD.
The Garmin Drive App on this is Version 4.13.32I can and just have transferred files using the MRA Beta GPX Export and the Garmin Drive app and I get the Track and the Trip Planner versions on the Garmin XT.
No issues with the Garmin Drive App 4.13.32 and iOS 14.15.1No issues on my Samsung S10 5G Phone either but I never allow automatic updates on that device either.
Garmin knows what the problem is, and they will come with an update, they only don’t know when. Could take a couple off weeks

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master
Thanks for the update Hans.
And to all those who tested as well. -
Just had a software update on the Garmin XT.
Not sure if its relevant to this issue but will re-install the Drive App on my iPad Pro and test. -
The update on the Zumo XT was 6.20.
Re-installed the Garmin Drive App on iPad Pro
Resynced my data to the device.
Exported a BETA GPX file
As soon as I opened the route in the Garmin Drive App it crashed and continues to crash there after.Obviously not a relevant update to the current issue.

@Jimmy-Dorough The problem is fixed. After the update a GPX could be sent via Garmin Drive to the XT by iPhone.

@Jimmy-Dorough ok, thanks. So we have to wait for this update.
Update: the new release 4.15.03 appears in the app store now. I updated the app and it works. -
Yes no Garmin Drive crashes.
I still get the issue of the last shaping point to the chequered flag being a dotted straight line in the Trip Planner on the XT.
The Track is perfect.
Hans said this was an MRA issue in another thread. -
Hi All,
It looks like the issue regarding the last Shaping point to the Chequered flag being a straight line is now resolved using the GPX 1.1 Beta export on my iPad Pro.
I have made a route Public called Mendip TT that transfers to the Garmin XT Trip Planner perfectly now.
I personally never use Via Points but I also added one in a copy of the Mendip TT file and this transfers to the Garmin XT Trip Planner perfectly as well.
Mendip TT with Via Point is also public.Thank you Catalina.

I have updated to 4.15.02 and the app starts without problems.
