Voice guidance on/off
-
I often switch between voice guidance on/off. Is it an idea to put a hotkey on the main screen? For example a loudspeaker symbol?
I understand that the screen should not be cluttered with buttons, but this one seems to me to be an added value.

@Bart-DM personally it's what I hate about Google maps. They always have this button on the map and it cannot be hidden (obviously we would allow that).
I either have it on or off all the time - 99% that's off for meHaving the button on the map would reduce the amount of clicks from 2 to 1 (as now you need to open the menu first).
I'll leave this open to discussion for the entire community

@Corjan-Meijerink If you hate it don't do it, you are the boss
With me, it is almost always off, except on a round trip.
-
@Bart-DM no definitely not
If a lot of people think this is important, that’s crucial to me! I just don’t see the win in reducing 2 click to 1 for something you mostly don’t change (at least not while riding).Thanks for you attitude! Truly appreciate all feedback

Perfectly fine in the menu where it currently is @Corjan-Meijerink. I agree that the amount of use during a ride does not warrant a separate on screen button.
-
I would imagine the majority of users would set this at the start of the ride. either on or off, and leave that setting in place for the whole ride.
MRA is however the king of giving its end users choices, so if enough people want it then as @Corjan-Meijerink has already suggested, unlike Google, it could be turned on or off.For me it's always off, i'd rather hear that boy racer in his souped up Peugeot 205 trying to cut into my lane on a roundabout.

To satisfy everybody would be difficult. I think one click to the menu to switch it on/off is the best option. Screen should be free for map information.

OK, I agree with you all.

Don't clutter the screen. 2 clicks is not an issue.
