@Angelo-Markakis-0
Hi Angelo , Overhere, Google Translate, will be your friend, that will supply you with valuable information. Many of us can correspond in English, so 'don't be afraid of the dark' (like in a well known song).
@chris-47
Welkom Chris.
Welcome Chris.
The first point in your route is a "hard" point that you must pass and cannot be skipped.
You may have started driving past that point.
When you create a route, it is therefore better to place the first point at some distance from your actual starting point so that you pass it.
Hi Travis,
Welcome to the community. Hope you have some good trips! Make sure to catch some nice photo's for us all while you're on the road
Kind regards,
Timo
@colin-hodgkinson You're probably referring to the map overlays, as there have only ever been 3 different map options.
The overlays are in the top right corner of the map display:

The difference is that the map option (OpenStreetMap, TomTom or Garmin) determines which map is used to actually calculate the route, while the map overlays determine what the map looks like on screen. Several overlays also provide additional information.
@howard-gold
Hello Howard, the road between Tujetsch and Andermatt is closed, see the black lines on the road. You can make the traffic layer visible via the maplayers
If you use the season closures option, the route will go over this stretch, as @Nick indicated

@jack-van-tilburg Thank you. I had it wrong about the XT. From looking at various posts on problems with sending files to it, I managed to get the impression that MRA .gpx 1.2 exists because MRA .gpx 1.1 would not work with the XT. I couldn’t get my head around why that should be, but let it pass. That blog went some way to sorting my wrong impression out.
I still don’t know entirely why .gpx 1.2 exists, to be honest. But that is of absolutely no consequence whatsoever. I’m happy to leave it that way!
And apologies for straying from topic and refraining from translation!

Thanks for your reply Mark, good to hear someone else has the same problem.
I took a look at your link and see the developers are working on it. Let’s hope the next revision to V1.1 fixes the issue.
