Hello, after the app works fine again, thanks for the fast support, I have a question regarding the start screen (map). If I am not on a route or track how can I use the initial screen just for orientation when I have no connection to internet? Can it be that the downloaded offline maps have nothing to do with the start screen?

You visit here regularly, so you will probably have read that a "free-ride" mode like some people seem to need very badly is in the works (and will be HERE based, including the offline maps). If you want help with issues with dropping internet connections, it is wise to open a new topic, or submit a support ticket. I think we can do without the negativity.

I am sorry but I cannot give you an ETA on this (not my place, nor my knowledge). There are some technical things to be solved, and HERE plays a big part in the details of such a feature. But it certainly has the attention of the devs.
