Hello, after the app works fine again, thanks for the fast support, I have a question regarding the start screen (map). If I am not on a route or track how can I use the initial screen just for orientation when I have no connection to internet? Can it be that the downloaded offline maps have nothing to do with the start screen?

@Thomas-Neumeyer correct ... main screen uses internet, not the offline (downloaded) maps from your phone. Another BS issue with this app ...

Just like the issues that appear when internet drops on the phone ...@Adrian-Avram, that is not an issue, that's how it is designed, and it is designed like that for reasons. You visit here regularly, so you will probably have read that a "free-ride" mode like some people seem to need very badly is in the works (and will be HERE based, including the offline maps). If you want help with issues with dropping internet connections, it is wise to open a new topic, or submit a support ticket. I think we can do without the negativity.

You visit here regularly, so you will probably have read that a "free-ride" mode like some people seem to need very badly is in the works (and will be HERE based, including the offline maps). If you want help with issues with dropping internet connections, it is wise to open a new topic, or submit a support ticket. I think we can do without the negativity.
@Con-Hennekens Thanks for the explanation, do you have further information when this free ride option might be available? I found posts from mid of last year where it was mentioned that it is planned.

@Thomas-Neumeyer, that is true. The idea was picked up some time ago indeed. I am sorry but I cannot give you an ETA on this (not my place, nor my knowledge). There are some technical things to be solved, and HERE plays a big part in the details of such a feature. But it certainly has the attention of the devs.

@Thomas-Neumeyer, that is true. The idea was picked up some time ago indeed. I am sorry but I cannot give you an ETA on this (not my place, nor my knowledge). There are some technical things to be solved, and HERE plays a big part in the details of such a feature. But it certainly has the attention of the devs.
@Con-Hennekens I would say after implementation of that no other app or device is required anymore. Lets see.
