Unable to change voice instructions

Hi, guys,
One other problem I have is that I changed the voice from female to male, but it doesn't reflect on the instructions. It remains the same female voice. Any hints?

@Flavio-Silva I have the same problem. I have 2 phones so on one I Hane English Australian accent and the other English Nigerian accent. But it keeps on defaulting to an English accent which I love but need to distinguish between devices.

wrote on 18 Feb 2025, 10:02 last edited by@Flavio-Silva, since some versions you can set the voice settings in the app independently from your phone settings. I suspect you are changing voice settings in your phones system menu instead of the MRA app it's Audio menu.

@Corjan-Meijerink, trying to replicate @JP-d's problem, I noticed that no matter what voice I select in the App's audio settings, the voice being used while navigating is the Android system's default. Somewhere, somehow (I am typing this with "Tell me why" from Anita Meyer in the background...) something changed, because this was not the case before.
