Hi everyone!
Some of you are probably interested in the technology we use.
We are quite a small company but the development of CarPlay / Android Auto with the Flutter SDK by HERE is an unprecedented scope.We haven't made it easy for ourselves and we are constantly trying to create the best app for you. Luckily this has been notices before by HERE resulting in a nice little interview.
Over the rest of the year we have been in touch with HERE to write a technical blog about our experiences with integrating their Flutter SDK in Android Auto and CarPlay.
The two very elaborate blogs about this are now online
In part 1 we talk about the preparation of the flutter project and the three core components:
- Kotlin (Android Auto)
- Swift (CarPlay)
- Dart itself
In part 2 we discuss a basic implementation of a routing screen and how this is setup with Flutter as orchestrator.
It's quite an elaborate read and very technical but might be fun for some of you
