@Radek-Šátka, there is no function for that. Why would you want to do that? The only thing it does, is to prevent them from autoskipping. You can disable autoskipping altogether in the app menu (Functional, second option), and leave the waypoints as they are.

The Hand forces a limitation which the drop don't has. You cannot auto skip this point. Which is fine in some circumstances but normally autoskip a point helps you while riding.(I use MRA Next only on Android Auto. Every comment, suggestion, etc will be based on my usage with Android Auto)

@Con-Hennekens Hi, I have 47 points on my route. Often with my own description. Or maybe for colleagues with a question. For example: we are driving up a mountain and the GPS says: what mountain is it and how high is it? At the next point is the answer. Or, the dam is xxx metres deep. The dam is xxx meters wide. For Zumo XT2 export 1.0 and no problem, everything will be Via Point. But the Zumo XT can only do 29 Via Point. Therefore I need 29 x hand and other drops.

@Radek-Šátka Thank you for your explanation. Unfortunately the restriction to only allow 29 via points is a Garmin rule, MRA cannot do anything about this. To overcome this (silly) rule you will have to stick with a limit of 29 via points in 1 route or split your route into two.

It gets harder and harder to work around the limitations of all available dedicated satnavs. I am so happy to use a rugged phone instead, without all those limitations!
On the other hand, if you are already in the waypoint menu to alter names and notes, changing from shaping point to via point is just one more click.

@Nick-Carthew Zumo XT2, 50 points is no problem. But in the group we also have a Zumo XT and there I have to make only 29 points (hand) and the rest of the points as a drop. It would be good to set somewhere to make points (hand) in the base.
