Nav 6 not showing tracks

Hi folks just got a bmw nav 6 (brand new) when I export a route the track isn't exporting only the trip. Any ideas why this is happening?

That's correct. The export function only places the route on your device.

@Mark-sadz you should export it as a .gpx 1.1 (route, track, POI).

Isn't that the "Save as" option?

TS is mentioning to export a route.

@Jack-van-Tilburg the export tool works fine for me. But I have a Nav V. I don’t know if the Nav VI is mounted on a fixed position. Than Save as gpx 1.1.
What’s in a word “save as” or “export”. In both way's the route has to go to a different spot. But you are right. The menu say's save as.

I sold my last Garmin last week. And can therefore no longer simulate it with a device.
I do see that the export places a track and a route in the GPX map. But I don't know how it works on the device.

TS will have to provide a little more explanation about the way it worked during and after export.
Particularly because three indications are given; Track, route and trip? What does TS mean by trip?

@Jack-van-Tilburg I've found a work around. save as and then upload to basecamp. I can then load the track onto the nav 6 via basecamp. Every route I export (in whatever format) from MRA only saves it as a trip on the nav 6.
