Problem with the navigation insage

Hi together,
I used MyRoute the first time today and wondered about the Navigation announcements.
From the announcements, less than 500m, an additional, very peculiar, text is announced. Does anyone know the problem and know how to turn it off?@Markus-Conrad said in Problem with the navigation insage:

I believe it is the problem in German with "Homograph Start und Homograph End Meter"
If so, it is a iOS problem and well know.

iPhone 12 pro (iOS 26.2.1)
iPad (7.Gen.) 18.7.3
Oukitel RT3 Pro (Andr. 14)
Wireless CarPlay mit (Elebest C650)
Wired CarPlay (SEAT Arona - 2021)

@Jörgen that’s exact the problem, you are right! Is there a solution for that problem?
@Markus-Conrad There was an iOS Version where the problem disappeared, but with the latest 16.5.1 it is back. I think for the moment we can only wait that Apple will change something, please complain at the Apple Hotline, the more, the better.

Yes it is well known by now on this forum, but not by new users.

From what I understand (without using any Apple's) you can change voices in the settings somewhere. Some voices have this problem, some don't. "Don't use the Siri voice" someone wrote on the forum earlier.

@Rob-Verhoeff I just checked 50% of the normal voices (you need to download them first) and all have this problem. Accept the voice under Eloquence.
But these are so bad in quality, that you want to use them. -
@Jörgen Yes, I've had the same experience. Almost every voice has the same problem! So it's not a voice issue. And why would you change the voice for an app? I think the programmers are more required here.

It is not so much a voice issue, it is a bug in the IOS speech synthesis.
But yeah, as usual the small developers get the blame... -
For your information, iOS Version 16.5.1 (c) from today still has this problem.

For your information, the TomTom Apps have the same problem with "Homograph".
We need more pressure on Apple, please use this site to complain.
