Audio alerts for speed cameras…

In the current version of the app (3.2.16), I get no audio alerts for speed cameras/trajectory checks. My settings are fine. Any other people with this problem?

We will work on audio stability & configuration in the next 1.5 weeks. Nothing should have changed in this update compared to previous ones
@Corjan-Meijerink No right, it didn't actually work in the previous one either
Maybe it's because although I use the app through my phone, it is also (at the same time) connected through CarPlay?

Maybe it's because although I use the app through my phone, it is also (at the same time) connected through CarPlay?

@Bart-DM I tested exactly that scenario tonight and no issues (with Spotify music playing).

@Bart-DM @Corjan-Meijerink I was able to do some testing today on this audio alert problem on my Android 13 Google Pixel 6 Pro. Sometimes I receive an audible alert but this is at about 800 yds and before the visual alert is shown inside 500yds of the speed camera. The times I did not receive the audible alert appears to be when there are other instructions going on at about the 800yds point from the camera. I also tested with Flitsmeister running in the background for alerts with the same results. Flitsmeister provided visual and audible alerts for speed cameras at about 300yds and this was, from my POV, a better distance for warning, particularly the audible alert.
Not been able to test the iOS version yet but hope this helps.

The hole day Today I had No Speedlimit and speedcam warning. I went into a Trap, but with only 5km/h above.

@Corjan-Meijerink has mentioned in another Thread, I think with music running your Bluetooth Connection is Open to Play the warning. If There is No music, the connection has to be opened and then the warning can be Play. I belive the Sound ist to short for this and is played already before the Connection is Established.

Today I drove about 100 km’s in Austria following a predefined route. I did see speed camera warnings a couple of times on the screen of my standalone Samsung Android tablet but did not hear any audio warnings. Navigation audio was working fine.

I concur, the visible screen warnings for cameras are correct, it even distinguishes between speed cameras and red light cameras, just not getting the audio warnings.
Something else that I would like to see are larger icons for the camera locations, they are difficult to see, just a small yellow blob. I know that our resident developer ninja @Corjan-Meijerink is good, in fact he and Joost are very, very good but I doubt whether they can change the size of the camera icons but I would like to be proved wrong
