We are travelling down from collar to Passy just south of Geneva but we will be towing our GSA 1200. So my questions revolve around the need for a vignette in Switzerland. I understand that you only need one if you are travelling on motorways.
So Q1. Will we need a vignette for car and a separate one for the trailer and one for the bike when its on the trailer
Q2 When we go out on the motorcycle will we need a separate vignette for the bike or can we use the vignette from the trailer.Bottom line, do we need 3 vignettes

Hi @Colin-Hodgkinson. I’ve moved your topic to routes and tracks as I thought it was more appropriate.
This is a good site for most of your questions.

@Colin-Hodgkinson I travel to Switzerland every year. You only need a vignette for the motorways. You need a separate vignette for the trailer. If you are going to use the motorways with the motorcycles, you will also need separate vignettes for the motorcycles. You are not allowed to exchange the vignettes!

@Rob-Verhoeff Thank you. It may sound a silly question but if I trailer the bike on a motorway do I still need a vignette as well as the trailer.

@Colin-Hodgkinson No, only if you take the bike of the trailer and ride the motorway.
