You probably know this but if you prod the address screen you get a scrollable list of turn by turn directions and Via/Waypoints. Particularly useful if you are using your XT in portrait mode. This is the middle section of a route. [image: 1768347432270-bc5cb7f1-cca9-458e-8cc7-4014ad3998bc-198783-1.png]

This feature request probably is superseeded by the "Navigate route as track" feature in combination with the fact that every route already contains a lowres track to enable this feature. Having said that, to copy a route as a track could be beneficial for sharing the track among users of third-party navigation systems from within the MyRouteApp planner (without export/import). Also it is a great tool for quickly comparing a route for changes, when they are getting old.

For those who are not familiar with 'BDR'. It means Backcountry Discovery Route.

@Kerry-Lebel ...your mentioned point "Mirador la Peña" serms a so called view point. You can use it by a click as route point if: on your screen left side, there is the list of waypoints - but you need to switch to list of POI (click on "Hamburger-Menue, right side of word "Waypoint" to select it) in the list of POI, you need to select the category "viewpoints" with a little luck, the "Mirador la Peña" is well known and an icon becomes visible in map (by zooming in!) you can click on this icon and select, if you want it entered as always visible POI - or/and as route point. Mostly the icon has the name as in the map shown (but you can override).

So I took the bike out today and tested out the new feature, and man does it deliver! Easy to use, and the route line is still bright and highly visible. I compared it against OnX Offroad, and I liked MRA better. I'm sure OnX has better features geared toward offroad riding, but for follow-the-line tracklogs, MRA nailed this one! Thank you so much!

@David-Gillies said in Garmin XT reflecting planned routes: if you select yes it does but doesn’t seem to fully recognise the shaping points and used the Garmin route calculation resulting in different roads. I assume you mean XT instead of XP? Try the GPX 1.2 export. I believe it uses the VIA point and tracks between them. That should help.

@Kerry-Lebel You can import POI's in three different formats: OV2, GPX or CVS. Your imported waypointlist is available in all the routes you make. Importing a route directly into a nested map is possible. You have to step into that map first and then upload your routes one by one. There are a bunch of formats available.

VG Hi Juergen, no, it's not complicated at all. Normally, you'd have all your routes saved in a folder anyway. Open that folder, select the first route, and then with two clicks you can make all the routes visible and even choose their colors. That's how I always show my friends all the routes at a glance. WP1 and WP2 are the route from the hotel to the gas station; I'll open them and then quickly and easily show all the other routes along this path; the colors can be changed there. Cheers! @Adrian-Avram said in Convert Route to Track Log ????: A tracklog (LOG) contains recorded average speed, distance and time while navigating a route or a track ... you cannot convert a route/track to a tracklog ! Yes you can. The only thing what is missing is the speed. If you want to replace a lost track log, that is the best way.

We really don't need a debate about the use of speed camera warnings / user preferences in how to drive / the desire to please the law. I feel like the question of @D-Griffin is answered so this thread will be locked.
