Delete Route when open
-
Hi, just a little suggestions.
I am cleaning my directories with routes, because I have not used always a clear name, I have to open the route to have a look. When I decide to delete this route, I have to close it and find it in the directory.
Damn, what was the name again? It would be really helpful if you could delete the route when it is open.
A little button with confirmation.

@Jörgen haha - I feel with you Jörgen. Yes, for those users, which have a lot of routes in the library (and maintain it regularly) it's sometimes a frustrating job.
A delete button (with workflow, to jump back in list view after deletion) in an open route, would be welcome.
Otherwise: it would also be helpful (for delete/copy/move) to identify in the list view, to have a column with a little picture about the route.
Same, if you want to make in a route visible another route or track. The workflow shows only the first part of the route or track name; that's often not enough to identify it.But that's slightly another topic...

I am curies how you see that: i never seen this possibility in any program that you can delete a document when it is open.
If you delete it what would you like to do with the screen that is open? -
Return to route List.
I side programming, is coded as:- Take route name or id
- close route without saving
- delete route name or route id
- And left focus on route list

If you delete it what would you like to do with the screen that is open?@BertM ...as I mentioned: with workflow in background (many other apps can do this
) and as @Lluis-Arasanz wrote... -

If you delete it what would you like to do with the screen that is open? The button could also be labelled “close” and “delete”, and I would then be back in the route directory.
What ever, I am not the programmer. -

Why should I sort the route by date? How does ist help by selecting unwanted routes?
Sorry I do not understand your comment. -

Sorry I do not understand your comment.I think what @Lex.Kloet.RX meant was: If you make a small edit to the route, when you change the sort order to Date or Change the route will appear at the top of the list so you know which route to delete.
Equally, you could easily add a X to the front of the route title so you know it should be deleted. -

Ok, understand. But just a quick look, does not help.
I like the X option, edit name is easy while open.
