V5.0.0 : map remain on screen, hiding menu
-
I am pretty sure this is has been resolved!
Update 5.0.1 will provide the solution. We will test it now internally and roll out a beta as soon as possible.
Also trying to resolve the "disappearing keyboard" issue -
Fixed in 5.0.1
Expecting release early next week.
In beta tomorrow probably. -
5.0.1 downloaded.
Seem (I am careful) to solve the issue.
I can finally access to the navigation.
Many thanks to everyone involved in the fix. -

Otherwise on the home screen tap the map layer icon > scroll all the way down > open the advanced settings.
You can then change the map configuration to help you in solving any issues. This setting is only available on older Androids.

501 433 gives on samsung active 2 and samsung S8 no solution. I think both android 9. on my main navigation phone ulefone x10 with android 11 it works ok. did use setting in map layers and virtual display and it seems to fix it for active 2

Samsung Galaxy running Android 9.
I am experiencing similar problems.
I want to use the device as a spare for a planned trip to South America next month (for two months).
Loaded MyRouteApp, opens fine but when I go to Routes and Tracks, I get a map.
If I turn the screen sideways, I can see half of the menus which should be displayed below hence I think this is a display issue.
I cannot really get any further - I intended to download maps for S.America to the device and use these off-line but cannot even get to the settings menu.
My current phone running the latest software works fine but I don't want to risk this a my prime device for the trip (hence the old Samsung).
has compatibility with older Android versions been resolved?
thank you in anticipation

I would upload a video but do not have enough privileges.
Essentially the map doesn't disappear so the menu options are not available.
This is using the navigation part of the software.
The MyRouteApp section to edit and create routes appears to work fine.
Hope the above helps.

I am running V 5.0.2

The latest version V5.0.2 is available and has fixed this issue...
-
That is the version I am running.
Could it have been fixed on 5.0.1 and the fix been missed on 5.0.2?
-
The fix to go to the advanced map settings (for older android devices) works.
Thank you
