@Manzo91 Turn your device in portret mode... Then the menu is just small at the bottom. We have to wait until the freeride mode is there.

@Cleo Dubbel op zeker! Ik had het in het menu weggehaald maar toen was er al paniek bij de testers omdat ze het niet konden vinden
Je geeft niet zozeer de vermijding aan maar waar je over wilt rijden: groen is dus wel en rood is niet. Ik snap je punt (hoewel dit niet veranderd is in de app sinds jaren).

You're not really specifying the avoidance, but rather the desired route: green is acceptable and red is unacceptable. I understand your point (although this hasn't changed in the app in years).
It is slightly confusing to call it ‘Avoidance Options’ as I preferred the ‘Allowed Roads’ previously used that fitted well with the red and green button. Just thinking that the use of ‘avoidance’ would be confusing for new users.

If I may offer a suggestion, in Italian language, the English term "Avoidance Options" would be better understood as simply "Evitare".
Then, in the menu that opens, enable or disable the options. -

@Corjan-Meijerink Ik denk dat het taalkundig fout gaat in mijn hoofd, de vraag is vermijdingsopties en lijkt me juist groen iets dat je wil vermijden. Maar aangezien het ook in de voorgaande versie zat en er geen taal purist lid is en ik die taalkundig niet erg goed uit de verf kom zeur er over, het kan verkeren.
Het is eigenlijk een onopgemerkte fout die er al een tijd in zit. -

@Cleo, het is natuurlijk wèl erg handig dat tijdens je rit de kaartlaag instellingen zo makkelijk bereikbaar zijn? Anderszins is het ook wel logisch dat je voor het wijzigen van die instellingen een menu-optie beschikbaar is, zodat je niet persé eerst een navigatie-sessie moet starten, toch?

With a great sense of pride we are happy to announce the release of our app update version 5!
The app has been completely reimagined while staying true to where we come from. We have redesigned almost everything to provide our users with a more premium experience. This evolution of MyRoute-app brings your experience to the next level
Coming Monday you will be able to download the latest version from the App Store and Play Store. We've developed this app, with alternating moments of intenstity, over the past year. Great shoutout to all Alpha testers providing early feedback and definitely also to the beta testers who used the app last month. Without their feedback, the release would not be of this quality.
Home screen
The biggest change is the new home screen. A nice clean look and feel with instant access to our most important features. Using the HERE maps throughout the entire application means that everything is now also available offline
The previous home screen felt outdated and not very useful to be honest as it originated from a whole different app. Let's remember where we come from and reflect on that! The app used to be a simple "tracking" app.
Roundtrips
With the new interface you can generate a roundtrip in even less clicks.
As the quality of these roundtrips also has been improved, it never has been as fun to let us decide your next adventure
AB routes
With a new and enhanced search interface in the app, it has actually become fun to search for your next destination.
Tapping a POI on the map, long pressing any location or using the search interface will all allow you generate a route.
Scenic routes
Feeling adventurous? Choose scenic and we will generate a fun route to your destination!
Still works the same as you are used to but it just looks a lot better
RouteXpert library
Want to drive a route of top quality? Use the RouteXpert library!
In the updated app interface it has become even easier to find RouteXpert routes
Other features
Finding nearby routes, checking the activity feed or creating your own route still works as easy as you are used to!
Definitely try out the in-app routeplanner to experience the joy of creating or editing routes on your phone!
Improved search
The entire experience of searching has been improved. Our search results are now more accurate and provide much more details. Opening hours, website information, phonenumber etc. are all displayed when available. You can even simply tap on a POI on the map to load the information for that location and instantly create a (scenic) route to it.Navigating itself
The navigation interface itself has largely been kept the same!

Corjan@Corjan-Meijerink Ik had maandagnacht om 00.10 de nieuwe versie 5.0 op mijn telefoon gezet maar kwam er vanmiddag achter dat dat waarschijnlijk niet succesvol was verlopen. Ik moest vanmiddag even met mijn motor naar de garage dus dacht ik gelijk een mooie gelegenheid om de vernieuwde app uit te proberen. Maar dat lukte niet wat ik ook probeerde ik kreeg steeds de melding Toegang tot achtergrondlocatie terwijl die aanstond. Heb de app maar verwijderd en opnieuw geïnstalleerd met succes en ben hoopvol gestemd.
Het probleem wat ik voorheen had als ik mijn motor uitzette dus ook mijn externe scherm en daarna weer startte de app bevroor op mijn externe scherm dat probleem had ik vanmiddag niet meer nu was het een onderbreking van een 5 minuten ik weet nog niet als de onderbreking langer duurt of hij dan weer bevriest. Maar tot nu toe lijkt het een verbetering dus vingers gekruist en hopen dat het in de toekomst zo blijft. Nu kwam ik er wel achter dat hij de routepunten niet meer vermeld, is dat ook een instelling die je moet aanvinken? of werkt dat niet meer in deze versie voorheen kreeg ik dat wel te horen via mijn headset. Maar tot nu toe mijn complimenten voor de makers:

@Con-Hennekens Tijdens het rijden blijf ik zoveel mogelijk van mijn navigatie af om te voorkomen dat ik ongewenst donor wordt. Bij mij is alles ingesteld voor vertrek.
@Cleo, dat snap ik, maar ook als je even langs de kant gaat staan of een parkeerplaats opzoekt, is het handig als je de lopende navigatie niet hoeft te onderbreken
. Mijn opmerking was geenszins een uitnodiging om al rijdend aan de instellingen te gaan knoeien uiteraard!
