MRA 6.0.0 (526) - Offline Calculation Problem

I am finding that when I need to start a navigation with the app temporarily offline, then I always receive a message to say that the route cannot be calculated. The required maps are downloaded and I have re-downloaded these to make sure that there were no problems with the previous download; however, the problem still persists.

Similarly, if I stop navigation in an area with poor/no signal then I am unable to resume the navigation session. I am generally resuming navigation from CarPlay and just receive the ‘calculating’ message on CarPlay but the phone says cannot calculate. The same problem happens if I start a new navigation session in poor signal areas; the app correctly goes into offline mode but will not calculate a route to start on CarPlay (or on the phone). That said, the route will then calculate as soon as I have signal and go back ‘online’.

I had similar problems with the previous version but this is a consistent problem for me.

@Dave-J-0, when you enable offline navigation, does it then calculate correctly? If not, double check your offline maps, you seem to have lost some map areas.

@MotoCon that is what I thought but I have downloaded the appropriate maps 3 times now (Wales and England). Still the same problem.

Even if I select Offline Navigation, I still get this:

@Dave-J-0, Okay, I assume your own location is also within the downloaded maps? If so we eliminated a map problem. Is this a couch exercise? If yes, go outside to a street and try again. Being too far from a street can have this effect too. If still no go, Corjan would have to check.

@MotoCon Unfortunately, this (and previously) was standing outside my house and about 4m from my road which is in the downloaded map area. As well as the previous could not calculate message, I also sometimes get the following which seems to never stop until I force close the app:

It just will not calculate in offline or temporary offline modes. The point being navigated to was a destination I went to online this morning.
