Hi everyone!
We are ready for a new beta!
Not the most exciting features but we do have a nice one.
The past weeks were however completely dedicated to stability changes.
For me not the most exciting as well as it was a lot of tedious work. But hopefully the results are there!Map spinning when standing still
Let's just start off with that. No, nothing changed. Expecting the HERE update within the next 2 weeks.
Then I'll immediately test their update and hopefully release a quick update.Search other areas
How often did you want to search somewhere that isn't where you currently are?
Now you can do so!
Just move the map around, tap the button and you're done.OSM search categories per vehicle
Especially interesting for campers but not excluded to them.
So bikers, cyclists etc. all get their own great suggestions!Note: they only work when you have internet.
With this, we now have the option to show detailed results.
For campers: you can even further narrow your search categories.
It's even possible to distinguish between confirmed or unknown facilities
The search categories are suggested based on your current transport mode (or that of the route you are driving).
A very fun addition to make the app even better!Minor improvements
- Navigate to POI is now possible
- Edit POI names
- Sort POI list
- App loading improved
What else?
Stability, stability and.....stability.
I've investigated every individual crash, every log I received over the past months.
The app analytics have been improved so further issues can be narrowed down more easily.
Is it perfect yet? Probably not
We just need more people using the app!
So wait for this beta to become available and just use the app whenever you can!
That's it for this beta.

That can't be done unless it's purely data changes - Google will automatically check any code changes. And to be fair, they're generally helpful checks that can point average developers to things they've overlooked.
But Corjan doesn't need that sort of oversight - he's plenty sharp enough already, right?

Hi,
I am importing the location of Speed Cameras into MRA via the Library "Add" function.
My problem is that there are in excess if 3000 POI's in my file and when added into the I.O.S MRA App, i get an error message stating "Too Many POI's. Only the first 2000 will be displayed" , see screenshot from the App below.
I have tried splitting the POI file into multiples of 1000 POI's but i still have the same issue.
Is there a limit to total POI's that i can add, if so can it be increased please ?

@corjan-meijerink quick feedback and just wanted to say Wow. What a difference with stability compared to the previous build, which I used for a 10 day tour to Misano, Italy from the UK - had constant crashes on wireless CarPlay disconnect.
The testing I have been doing has not had any crashes at all with this new build 480 and functions very well. I like the new search functions and they work well. Some of the vehicle type options could be changed slightly - toilets for motorcycle but there will always be a discussion for a future date.
As an aside, when will the roadblock options and route type options be introduced into CarPlay?

Cannot yet indicate when we will implement those in CarPlay!
Isn't top priority now but we definitely want to have it done just for the sake of keeping things in line (like we recently did). -
