V5.1.0 - 458 Same Point in Route Cycles to First Instance if Later Point Selected - CarPlay
-
@Corjan-Meijerink I have been testing the version with a fairly simple route that requires going back to the same place after navigating to other points. I can select the later instance (second iteration of the point in the route) but when I check the route and the waypoints in CarPlay, the route will always be to the first iteration and not the second as selected.
The same problem exists if I undertake the same process on the phone.

@Dave-J-0 sorry, I have no clue what you are talking about

If the behavior is the same in the app, please share screenshots -
Sorry @Corjan-Meijerink Screenshot of the route with Points 2 and 4 being the same place. I quite often meet up with people at a place, we then do a circular route back to the same place before I head home.

Wow! That one is interesting actually.
I understand why it happens and will make sure it's fixed in the definitive 5.1 release. -
Brill. Thank you. @Corjan-Meijerink

It is actually quite an annoying issue.
Have you perhaps got the setting "Navigate routes as track" enabled?
If yes, thanks for letting me know.
If no, does the issue occur when you turned it off? -

If no, does the issue occur when you turned it off?@Corjan-Meijerink I do not have ‘navigate route as track’ enabled and neither was this setting turned off before this route was started. Generally, I navigate routes as routes.
Sorry if this causes problems.

Thanks for your reply. Could you then share the link to the route?
