Update 5.0.4 - Minor improvements
-
Hi all!

A very quick update is coming your way.
- Fixed CarPlay / Android Auto nagging about a missing subscription for the first time after an update
- Improve performance when starting navigation. Due to device limit related checks the experience was suboptimal.
- Fix for track navigation errors (included waypoints were not displayed and start became unskippable)
- Fix for some layout issues when Android navigation bar was set to gesture
- Add DMD Remote 2 as bluetooth controller
That's it

We are still expecting a big update (5.1) at the end of this month.Cheers,
Corjan -

Not yet. Only on my iPhone.
Tested with the iPhone and CarPlay yesterday and it was flawless !
Great job ! -
Unfortunately, it hasn't been offered to me yet either. It's taking a very long time this time!

Just checked my Andoid device: Update is not yet available. iOS-Update was available several days ago and works fine.

Android is indeed still processing

-
is such a long processing time typically for GooglePlay? The update is still not available...

Processing for both app stores is not in MRA's control. Both stores insist on checking apps, both for unwanted features, but also for malicious code.
A lot of the checking is automated, but if a real QA person gets involved the time can stretch - up to 7 days is the guidance. For complex apps like MRA there are a lot of screens & functions to visit, so it's understandable. Apple used to be dreadful - now it's Google who are slow.
App developers can request that releases are expedited, but those requests are best saved for real emergency fixes - it's best not to 'cry wolf' too often!
